彼所悅者、錫以智慧、知識歡樂、惟以憂勞加於罪人、使其所收所積、歸於上帝所悅者、斯亦虛空、乃為捕風、

上帝所悅者、賜以智慧歡樂、若惡人則勞苦之、以其所積貨財、賜於善良、凡百之事、無非捕風捉影、以此益見矣。

天主所悅者、賜以智慧、知識、歡樂、獲罪於天主者、天主則畀以收斂積蓄之任、終歸於天主所悅者用、此亦屬於虛、亦如捕風、

To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness to the person who pleases him. But to a sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth. Then the sinner must hand it over to the one who pleases God. That doesn’t have any meaning either. It’s like chasing the wind.

For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. This, too, is meaningless— like chasing the wind.

For to the person who is pleasing in his sight, he gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and accumulating in order to give to the one who is pleasing in God’s sight. This too is futile and a pursuit of the wind.

For to a person who is good in His sight, He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, while to the sinner He has given the task of gathering and collecting so that he may give to one who is good in God’s sight. This too is futility and striving after wind.

For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.

善人給子孫遺留產業；罪人為義人積存資財。

他雖積蓄銀子如塵沙，預備衣服如泥土；他只管預備，義人卻要穿上；他的銀子，無辜的人要分取。

向來你們沒有奉我的名求甚麼，如今你們求，就必得着，叫你們的喜樂可以滿足。」

你們要論義人說：他必享福樂，因為要吃自己行為所結的果子。惡人有禍了！他必遭災難！因為要照自己手所行的受報應。

人以厚利加增財物，是給那憐憫窮人者積蓄的。

希西家在猶大遍地這樣辦理，行耶和華－他神眼中看為善為正為忠的事。凡他所行的，無論是辦神殿的事，是遵律法守誡命，是尋求他的神，都是盡心去行，無不亨通。

得智慧，得聰明的，這人便為有福。因為得智慧勝過得銀子，其利益強如精金，比珍珠寶貴；你一切所喜愛的，都不足與比較。她右手有長壽，左手有富貴。她的道是安樂；她的路全是平安。她與持守她的作生命樹；持定她的，俱各有福。

但你們得在基督耶穌裏是本乎神，神又使他成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖。如經上所記：「誇口的，當指着主誇口。」

他們二人在神面前都是義人，遵行主的一切誡命禮儀，沒有可指摘的，

耶和華對挪亞說：「你和你的全家都要進入方舟；因為在這世代中，我見你在我面前是義人。

當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道理豐豐富富地存在心裏，用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，心被恩感，歌頌神。無論做甚麼，或說話或行事，都要奉主耶穌的名，藉着他感謝父神。

因此，我們自從聽見的日子，也就為你們不住地禱告祈求，願你們在一切屬靈的智慧悟性上，滿心知道神的旨意；好叫你們行事為人對得起主，凡事蒙他喜悅，在一切善事上結果子，漸漸地多知道神；照他榮耀的權能，得以在各樣的力上加力，好叫你們凡事歡歡喜喜地忍耐寬容；又感謝父，叫我們能與眾聖徒在光明中同得基業。

因為神的國不在乎吃喝，只在乎公義、和平，並聖靈中的喜樂。在這幾樣上服事基督的，就為神所喜悅，又為人所稱許。

聖靈所結的果子，就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、溫柔、節制。這樣的事沒有律法禁止。

惟獨從上頭來的智慧，先是清潔，後是和平，溫良柔順，滿有憐憫，多結善果，沒有偏見，沒有假冒。

但在人裏面有靈；全能者的氣使人有聰明。

我見日光之下所做的一切事，都是虛空，都是捕風。
