我遭遇患難、尋求主、夜間舉手不休、心中不得安逸、我思念天主、不勝哀痛、我一追想、心即悲傷、細拉、主使我不能合睫、我心煩亂不安、不能語言、

雅各曰、我旅世之年、一百有三十、較我祖旅世之年為少、且多歷艱苦、或作雅各曰我旅世之年日一百三十歲我年無幾且多歷艱苦不及我祖之年為多

我因歎息、甚覺困乏、每夜流淚、霑濡我床、浸濕我榻、我因憂愁、眼目昏花、因仇離甚多、日見衰老、

我又見日下有一事、更為大患、貨財存積、反害本主、

蓋智慧多、煩惱亦多、知識增、夏愁亦增、
