I thought,“ Wisdom is better than foolishness, just as light is better than darkness.

这样我就看到：智慧胜过愚昧，就像光明胜过黑暗。

我便看出智慧勝過愚昧，如同光明勝過黑暗。

我便看出智慧有長處、勝過愚昧，正如光有長處勝過黑暗。

這樣我就看到：智慧勝過愚昧，就像光明勝過黑暗。

我知智愈於愚、猶光愈於暗、

知智愈乎愚、光愈乎暗。

我雖見智慧勝於愚昧、如光明勝於幽暗、

I saw that wisdom is better than folly, just as light is better than darkness.

I saw that wisdom is better than foolishness, just as light is better than darkness.

Then I saw that there is more gain in wisdom than in folly, as there is more gain in light than in darkness.

And I realized that there is an advantage to wisdom over folly, like the advantage of light over darkness.

Then I saw that wisdom surpasses foolishness as light surpasses darkness.

Then I saw that wisdom excels folly As light excels darkness.

Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.

And I realized that there is an advantage to wisdom over folly, like the advantage of light over darkness.

Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.

I realized that wisdom is preferable to folly, just as light is preferable to darkness:

Then I saw that wisdom excels folly, as far as light excels darkness.

Wisdom is even better when you have money. Both are a benefit as you go through life.Wisdom and money can get you almost anything, but only wisdom can save your life.

But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!

For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!

“ Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when it is unhealthy, your body is filled with darkness.Make sure that the light you think you have is not actually darkness.

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

So even though wisdom is better than strength, those who are wise will be despised if they are poor. What they say will not be appreciated for long.

Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”The Lord of Heaven’s Armies says,“ The day of judgment is coming, burning like a furnace. On that day the arrogant and the wicked will be burned up like straw. They will be consumed— roots, branches, and all.“ But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.

How much better to get wisdom than gold, and good judgment than silver!

Better to have wisdom than weapons of war, but one sinner can destroy much that is good.

The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.

Light is sweet; how pleasant to see a new day dawning.

Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you.Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.

One wise person is stronger than ten leading citizens of a town!

The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.But the way of the wicked is like total darkness. They have no idea what they are stumbling over.
