It didn’t even see the sun. It didn’t know anything at all. But it has more rest than that man does.

The cheerful look of a messenger brings joy to your heart. And good news gives health to your body.

The Lord gives sight to the eyes of poor people and those who treat others badly. That’s what they both have in common.

You have saved me from the darkness of death. You have kept me from tripping and falling. Now I can live with you in the light of life.

God has set me free. He has kept me from going down into the darkness of the grave. So I’ll live to enjoy the light of life.’

The Lord God is like the sun that gives us light. He is like a shield that keeps us safe. The Lord blesses us with favor and honor. He doesn’t hold back anything good from those whose lives are without blame.

He wants to stop people from going down into the darkness of the grave. Then the light of life will shine on them.
