所以，你要抛开心中的烦恼和肉体的痛苦，因为青春年华转瞬即逝。

所以，你当从心中除掉愁烦，从肉体克去邪恶；因为一生的开端和幼年之时，都是虚空的。

所以，当从心中除掉愁烦，从肉体除去痛苦；因为年少和年轻之时，全是虚空。

所以你当除掉心中的烦恼，除去肉体的疾苦，因为无论是幼年或是壮年，都是虚空的。

因此你當從心中除掉煩惱，從肉體中除去疾苦；要知道，無論年少或青壯都轉眼成空。

故當心屏憂愁、身去邪惡、因稚齒與英年、悉屬虛空、

故必去欲絕邪、蓋幼稚之時、亦屬於虛。

故當心除憂忿、身離惡事、惡事或作有損之事因幼年速逝如晨、皆屬於虛、因幼年速逝如晨皆屬於虛或作因幼年髮黑之時皆屬於虛

So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless.

So drive worry out of your heart. Get rid of all your troubles. Being young and strong doesn’t have any meaning.

Remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.

So refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy. But remember that youth, with a whole life before you, is meaningless.

Remove sorrow from your heart, and put away pain from your flesh, because youth and the prime of life are fleeting.

So remove sorrow from your heart and keep pain away from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.

Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, And put away evil from your flesh, For childhood and youth are vanity.

Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh; for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.

Remove sorrow from your heart, and put away pain from your flesh, because youth and the prime of life are fleeting.

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，我们既然有这些应许，就当洗净自己身体和灵魂一切的污秽，存着敬畏上帝的心追求完全圣洁。

我观察一切日光之下所做的事，看啊，都是虚空，好像捕风。

你要逃避年轻人的邪情私欲，要跟那些以清洁的心求告主的人一同追求公义、信心、仁爱、和平。

传道者说：虚空的虚空，虚空的虚空，一切都是虚空。

你的怒气使我们灭亡，你的愤怒使我们战抖。你知道我们的罪恶，对我们隐秘的罪了如指掌。我们活在你的烈怒之下，一生就像一声叹息飞逝而去。我们一生七十岁，强壮的可活八十岁，但人生最美好的时光也充满劳苦和愁烦，生命转瞬即逝，我们便如飞而去。谁明白你愤怒的威力？有谁因为明白你的烈怒而对你心存敬畏呢？

求你饶恕我年轻时的罪恶和过犯，以你的恩惠和慈爱待我。

一切都要这样被焚毁，你们在热切等候上帝来临的日子期间，该怎样过圣洁、敬虔的生活啊！因为到那日，天要被火焚毁，有形有质的都要被烈火熔化烧尽。

愚昧缠住孩童的心，教棍能远远赶走它。

年轻时要记住你的创造主，不要等到衰老的岁月来临时才哀叹：“我的日子毫无乐趣。”

你记下指控我的罪状，让我承担幼年的罪恶。

你使我的生命转瞬即逝，我的岁月在你眼中不到片刻。人的生命不过是一丝气息，（细拉）

他的筋骨依然强健，却要随他葬入尘土。
