Do not revile the king even in your thoughts, or curse the rich in your bedroom, because a bird in the sky may carry your words, and a bird on the wing may report what you say.

Don’t say bad things about the king. Don’t even think about those things. Don’t curse rich people. Don’t even curse them in your bedroom. A bird might fly away and carry your words. It might report what you said.

被掩蓋的事沒有將不被顯露出來的，隱祕的事也沒有將不被知道的。所以你們在暗中所說的，會在明處被聽見；你們在內室裡耳語的，將要在屋頂上被宣揚出去。

他們必經過這地，遭困苦，受飢餓。他們飢餓的時候就發怒，仰面朝天，詛咒自己的君王和自己的神；

耶穌回答說：「我告訴你們：這些人如果不做聲，石頭都會呼喊起來！」

不要把人所說的每一句話都放在心上，這樣你就不會聽到你的奴僕詛咒你；因為你心裡知道，你自己也多次詛咒過別人。

瑪妲為了很多伺候的事就心裡煩亂，上前來說：「主啊，我妹妹丟下我一個人伺候，你不管嗎？請叫她來幫我的忙吧。」
