Many worries result in dreams. Many words result in foolish talk.

Who knows what’s good for a person? They live for only a few meaningless days. They pass through life like a shadow. Who can tell them what will happen on earth after they are gone?

No one knows what lies ahead. So who can tell someone else what’s going to happen?

So you say things that don’t mean anything. You use a lot of words, but you don’t know what you are talking about.”

Sin is not ended by using many words. But those who are wise control their tongues.

To his sin he adds even more sin. He claps his hands and makes fun of us. He multiplies his words against God.”

Now listen, you who say,“ Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city. We will spend a year there. We will buy and sell and make money.”You don’t even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? It is a mist that appears for a little while. Then it disappears.
