The people are strong and tall— Anakites! You know about them and have heard it said:“ Who can stand up against the Anakites?”

The people who live there are Anakites. They are strong and tall. You know all about them. You have heard people say,“ Who can stand up against the Anakites?”

他們經南地到達希伯崙。希伯崙城比埃及的鎖安城還要早建七年，那裡住著亞衲人的子孫亞希幔、示篩和撻買。

北方王必為所欲為，所向無敵。他必侵佔佳美之地，手握毀滅之權。

但那裡的居民很強悍，城邑又大又堅固。我們在那裡還見到亞衲人的子孫。

祂發怒，誰能站立？祂發烈怒，誰能承受？祂的憤怒如火焰噴湧而出，磐石在祂面前崩裂。

利乏音族人數眾多，像亞衲人一樣身材高大。耶和華消滅了他們，讓亞捫人佔領他們的土地，住在那裡。

祂若來囚禁你，開庭審判，誰能阻攔？

我們在那裡看見了亞衲人的子孫，他們是巨人的後裔，我們跟他們相比就像蚱蜢，他們看我們也像蚱蜢。」

以米人同亞衲人一樣也被稱為利乏音人，但摩押人稱他們為以米人。以前，何利人也住在西珥，但以掃的子孫消滅了他們，佔領了他們的土地，住在那裡，正如後來以色列人佔領了耶和華賜給他們的土地。

我看見這公綿羊向西方、北方和南方頂撞，沒有獸能抵擋牠，或逃脫牠的威力。牠隨心所欲，狂妄自大。

祂要將他們的王交在你們手中，無人能抵擋你們，你們要毀滅他們，使他們的名字從世上絕跡。

埃及的巫師無法與摩西對抗，因為他們及所有埃及人身上都長了膿瘡。
