Let me alone, so that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven. And I will make you into a nation stronger and more numerous than they.”

Do not try to stop me. I am going to destroy them. I will wipe them out from the earth. Then I will make you into a great nation. Your people will be stronger than they were. There will be more of you than there were of them.”

Yahweh will not pardon him, but then Yahweh’s anger and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book will fall on him, and Yahweh will blot out his name from under the sky.

You have rebuked the nations. You have destroyed the wicked. You have blotted out their name forever and ever.

Now therefore leave me alone, that my wrath may burn hot against them, and that I may consume them; and I will make of you a great nation.”Moses begged Yahweh his God, and said,“ Yahweh, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, that you have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?Why should the Egyptians talk, saying,‘ He brought them out for evil, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the surface of the earth?’ Turn from your fierce wrath, and turn away from this evil against your people.Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self, and said to them,‘ I will multiply your offspring as the stars of the sky, and all this land that I have spoken of I will give to your offspring, and they shall inherit it forever.’”

Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out.

The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot.

Then Yahweh said to me,“ Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind would not turn toward this people. Cast them out of my sight, and let them go out!

and he from within will answer and say,‘ Don’t bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I can’t get up and give it to you’?I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.“ I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.

He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

“ You stiff- necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.

Yet now, if you will, forgive their sin— and if not, please blot me out of your book which you have written.”Yahweh said to Moses,“ Whoever has sinned against me, I will blot him out of my book.

Yahweh said to me,“ Don’t pray for this people for their good.

I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. They will never be silent day nor night. You who call on Yahweh, take no rest,and give him no rest, until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ How long will this people despise me? and how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have worked among them?I will strike them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”

He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up,saying,“ There was a judge in a certain city who didn’t fear God, and didn’t respect man.A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying,‘ Defend me from my adversary!’He wouldn’t for a while, but afterward he said to himself,‘ Though I neither fear God, nor respect man,yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”The Lord said,“ Listen to what the unrighteous judge says.Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
