For Jehovah thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills;

因为耶和华你神领你进入美地，那地有河，有泉，有源，从山谷中流出水来。

“耶和华—你的上帝必领你进入美地，那地有河流，有泉源和深渊的水从谷中和山上流出。

因为祂要带你们到一个佳美之地。那里的谷中和山间流淌着条条溪流、股股清泉；

因为耶和华你的神快要领你进入那美地；那地有河流，有泉，有源，水从谷中和山上流出来；

爾上帝耶和華導爾入腴壤、其地有溪、有泉有源、自陵與谷而出、

爾之上帝耶和華、導爾入腴壤、水泉溪河、深淵皆出自陵谷、

主爾之天主導爾入美地、無論平原山地、皆有水流湧出、有泉有河有湖、

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land— a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills;

and that ye may prolong your days in the land, which Jehovah sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land flowing with milk and honey.For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs;but the land, whither ye go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven,a land which Jehovah thy God careth for: the eyes of Jehovah thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

in that day I sware unto them, to bring them forth out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.

and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth.Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof.Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness.They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered over with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.

So the children went in and possessed the land, and thou subduedst before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gavest them into their hands, with their kings, and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they would.And they took fortified cities, and a fat land, and possessed houses full of all good things, cisterns hewn out, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit- trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great goodness.
