If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.

Don’t forget the Lord your God. Don’t serve other gods. Don’t worship them and bow down to them. I am a witness against you today that if you do, you will certainly be destroyed.

And if you forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I solemnly warn you today that you shall surely perish.

“ But I assure you of this: If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods, worshiping and bowing down to them, you will certainly be destroyed.

If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods to serve them and bow in worship to them, I testify against you today that you will certainly perish.

Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the Lord your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.

But if you still do evil, both you and your king will be swept away.”

And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accordance with his will, will receive many blows,but the one who did not know it, and committed acts deserving of a beating, will receive only a few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.

“ I have eliminated nations; Their corner towers are deserted. I have laid waste their streets, With no one passing by; Their cities have been laid waste, Without a person, without an inhabitant.

No, I tell you, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.

know with certainty that the Lord your God will not continue to drive these nations out from before you; but they will be a snare and a trap to you, and a whip on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land which the Lord your God has given you.

“ If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God,then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.And He will bring back on you every disease of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.Also every sickness and every plague, which are not written in the book of this Law, the Lord will bring on you until you are destroyed.Then you will be left few in number, whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, because you did not obey the Lord your God.And it will come about that, just as the Lord rejoiced over you to be good to you, and make you numerous, so will the Lord rejoice over you to wipe you out and destroy you; and you will be torn away from the land which you are entering to possess.Furthermore, the Lord will scatter you among all the peoples, from one end of the earth to the other; and there you will serve other gods, made of wood and stone, which you and your fathers have not known.Among those nations you will find no peace, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of soul.So your lives will be hanging in doubt before you; and you will be terrified night and day, and have no assurance of your life.In the morning you will say,‘ If only it were evening!’ And at evening you will say,‘ If only it were morning!’ because of the terror of your heart which you fear, and the sight of your eyes which you will see.And the Lord will bring you back to Egypt in ships, by the way about which I said to you,‘ You will never see it again!’ And there you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.”

in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, observed in the books the number of the years which was revealed as the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet for the completion of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years.

No, I tell you, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

I declare to you today that you will certainly perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and take possession of it.I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have placed before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,

“ You only have I known among all the families of the earth; Therefore I will punish you for all your wrongdoing.”

Then people will say,‘ It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt.And they went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they have not known and whom He had not assigned to them.Therefore, the anger of the Lord burned against that land, to bring upon it every curse which is written in this book;and the Lord uprooted them from their land in anger, fury, and in great wrath, and hurled them into another land, as it is this day.’
