I increased my achievements. I built houses and planted vineyards for myself.

It will be the same as it was in the days of Lot: People went on eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building.

They are saying,‘ Isn’t the time near to build houses? The city is the pot, and we are the meat.’

“ Is it a time for you yourselves to live in your paneled houses, while this house lies in ruins?”

When I bring them into the land I swore to give their ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey, they will eat their fill and prosper. They will turn to other gods and worship them, despising me and breaking my covenant.

who says,“ I will build myself a massive palace, with spacious upstairs rooms.” He will cut windows in it, and it will be paneled with cedar and painted bright red.Are you a king because you excel in cedar? Didn’t your father eat and drink and administer justice and righteousness? Then it went well with him.

Therefore, because you trample on the poor and exact a grain tax from him, you will never live in the houses of cut stone you have built; you will never drink the wine from the lush vineyards you have planted.
