『你要謹慎，恐怕你忘記了永恆主你的上帝，不遵守他的誡命、典章、律例、就是我今日所吩咐你的；

Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.

我使你着刺繡服裝，穿塔哈示皮鞋；我用細麻給你做裹頭巾，又用絲綢給你遮身。我用妝飾物給你打扮，將鐲子戴在你手上，將鍊子戴在你脖子上，又將環子戴在你鼻子上，將耳環戴在你耳朵上，將華冠戴在你頭上。這樣你就有了金銀的妝飾物；你穿的是細麻、絲綢、刺繡服裝；你喫的是細麵、蜜和油；你長得極其美麗之極，直發達到王后般的豔麗。你的名聲因你的美麗而傳出在列國中，因為由於我加在你身上的榮美、你的美麗乃十全十美：這是主永恆主發神諭說的。『但是你倚靠你的美麗，竟憑着你的名聲而行淫；你向任何過路人傾瀉出你的淫亂媚態，而那便成了屬他的。
