He will give their kings into your hand, and you will wipe out their names from under heaven. No one will be able to stand up against you; you will destroy them.

大而強之國、主已逐其民於爾前、無人能立於爾前、無人能立於爾前或作無人能禦爾至於今日、

既攜出五王至約書亞前、約書亞召以色列眾至、謂所率戰士之諸將曰、來前、置足於此王之頸、遂前、置足於其頸、約書亞謂之曰、勿恐懼、勿膽怯、當強爾心壯爾志、蓋主必如是待爾所攻之一切仇敵、

約書亞一時敗諸王而取其地、蓋主以色列之天主、為以色列人戰也、

凡器為攻爾而製者、必不利、凡起而與爾舌戰者、必為爾所勝、此我我原文作主之僕所居之業、業或作景況即彼自我我原文作主所得之義、義或作福澤此乃主所言、

我必舉手降罰於猶大人、及耶路撒冷居民、我於斯處、必翦滅所餘之巴力、必翦滅祭偶像之祭司、與他祭司之名、

主必不赦之、必動忌邪之心、震怒甚烈、氣忿若燄、以攻此人、以此書所載諸禍諸禍或作諸詛下同加諸其身、塗抹其名於天下、

然於此諸事、我儕賴愛我者、大獲全勝、

主諭摩西曰、我必從天下除滅亞瑪力人之名、爾當筆之於書以為誌、口誦使約書亞聞之、

主斥責列國、翦除惡人、塗抹其名、直至永遠、

爾當如斯告彼曰、非造天地之神、必亡於地、於此天下、

以色列人在約但東、日出之所、擊二王而得其地、即自亞嫩溪至黑門山、及東方全亞拉巴、亞拉巴或作平原此二王即都希實本之亞摩利王西宏、其原轄之地、即基列之半、自亞嫩溪濱之亞羅珥、及州中州中或作谷中下同之邑、至亞捫人之交界雅博溪、又東向之亞拉巴、至基尼列海、海或作湖又至亞拉巴海、即鹽海向東、與伯耶西末相對、又南向至毘斯迦山麓、又南向至毘斯迦山麓或作又自提縵沿毘斯迦山麓都亞斯他錄及以得來之巴珊王噩、為利乏音族利乏音族或作偉人下同所存者、其原轄之地、即黑門山、撒迦與巴珊全地、至基述族瑪迦族之交界、及基列之半、至希實本王西宏國之界、此二王為主之僕摩西與以色列人所擊、主之僕摩西、以其地賜流便支派、迦得支派、及瑪拿西半支派為業、

善人之名、必為人所讚、惡人之名、必遺臭腐爛、

及至主爾之天主助爾勝四周之敵、俾爾綏安在主爾天主所賜爾為業之地、或作及至主爾之天主脫爾於四圍之敵使爾安居在主云云則當塗抹亞瑪力名於天下、爾毋或忘、

感謝天主、使我賴我主耶穌基督而得勝、
