施大能巨力、行異跡奇事、降災於敵、拯爾出彼、為爾目擊、爾今所畏之民、必為爾上帝耶和華所罰、無異於昔。

當追憶主爾之天主導爾出伊及時、所試之大能、所行之異跡奇事、所用之大力大威、爾目所睹者、主爾之天主亦必如是待爾所懼之諸國、

You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the Lord your God brought you out. The Lord your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear.

With your own eyes you saw what the Lord did to them. You saw the signs and amazing things he did. He reached out his mighty hand and powerful arm. The Lord your God used all those things to bring you out. You are now afraid of the nations that are in the land the Lord promised you. But the Lord your God will do to them the same things he did to Egypt.

神何曾从别的国中将一国的人民领出来，用试验、神迹、奇事、争战、大能的手，和伸出来的膀臂，并大可畏的事，像耶和华你们的神在埃及，在你们眼前为你们所行的一切事呢？

那日我向他们起誓，必领他们出埃及地，到我为他们察看的流奶与蜜之地；那地在万国中是有荣耀的。我对他们说，你们各人要抛弃眼所喜爱那可憎之物，不可因埃及的偶像玷污自己。我是耶和华你们的神。他们却悖逆我，不肯听从我，不抛弃他们眼所喜爱那可憎之物，不离弃埃及的偶像。“我就说，我要将我的忿怒倾在他们身上，在埃及地向他们成就我怒中所定的。我却为我名的缘故没有这样行，免得我名在他们所住的列国人眼前被亵渎；我领他们出埃及地，在这列国人的眼前将自己向他们显现。

你们今日当知道，我本不是和你们的儿女说话；因为他们不知道，也没有看见耶和华你们神的管教、威严、大能的手，和伸出来的膀臂，并他在埃及中向埃及王法老和其全地所行的神迹奇事；也没有看见他怎样待埃及的军兵、车马，他们追赶你们的时候，耶和华怎样使红海的水淹没他们，将他们灭绝，直到今日，

在埃及地显神迹奇事，直到今日在以色列和别人中间也是如此，使自己得了名声，正如今日一样。用神迹奇事和大能的手，并伸出来的膀臂与大可畏的事，领你的百姓以色列出了埃及。

就施行神迹奇事在法老和他一切臣仆，并他国中的众民身上。你也得了名声，正如今日一样，因为你知道他们向我们列祖行事狂傲。你又在我们列祖面前把海分开，使他们在海中行走干地，将追赶他们的人抛在深海，如石头抛在大水中；

约书亚说：“看哪，普天下主的约柜必在你们前头过去，到约旦河里，因此你们就知道在你们中间有永生神；并且他必在你们面前赶出迦南人、赫人、希未人、比利洗人、革迦撒人、亚摩利人、耶布斯人。
