  • Psalms 105:26-36
He sent His servant Moses, And Aaron, whom He had chosen. They performed His wondrous acts among them, And miracles in the land of Ham.He sent darkness and made it dark; And they did not rebel against His words. He turned their waters into blood, And caused their fish to die.Their land swarmed with frogs Even in the chambers of their kings. He spoke, and a swarm of flies And gnats invaded all their territory. He gave them hail for rain, And flaming fire in their land.He also struck their vines and their fig trees, And smashed the trees of their territory. He spoke, and locusts came, And creeping locusts, beyond number,And they ate all the vegetation in their land, And ate the fruit of their ground. He also fatally struck all the firstborn in their land, The first fruits of all their vigor.

Then His people remembered the days of old, of Moses. Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit in the midst of them,Who caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, Who divided the waters before them to make for Himself an everlasting name,Who led them through the depths? Like the horse in the wilderness, they did not stumble;Like the cattle which go down into the valley, The Spirit of the Lord gave them rest. So You led Your people, To make for Yourself a glorious name.Look down from heaven and see from Your holy and glorious lofty habitation; Where are Your zeal and Your mighty deeds? The stirrings of Your heart and Your compassion are restrained toward me.

But Aaron’s staff swallowed their staffs.Yet Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, just as the Lord had said. Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn; he refuses to let the people go.
