But do not be afraid of them; remember well what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt.

you shall not be afraid of them but you shall remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt,

Awake, awake, arm of the Lord, clothe yourself with strength! Awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old. Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through?Was it not you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made a road in the depths of the sea so that the redeemed might cross over? They forgot what he had done, the wonders he had shown them. (niv)

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. (niv)

He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.They performed his signs among them, his wonders in the land of Ham.He sent darkness and made the land dark— for had they not rebelled against his words?He turned their waters into blood, causing their fish to die.Their land teemed with frogs, which went up into the bedrooms of their rulers.He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats throughout their country.He turned their rain into hail, with lightning throughout their land;he struck down their vines and fig trees and shattered the trees of their country.He spoke, and the locusts came, grasshoppers without number;they ate up every green thing in their land, ate up the produce of their soil.Then he struck down all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their manhood. He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, the firstborn of people and animals.He sent his signs and wonders into your midst, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.He struck down many nations and killed mighty kings— (niv)

to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt His love endures forever.and brought Israel out from among them His love endures forever.with a mighty hand and outstretched arm; His love endures forever.to him who divided the Red Sea asunder His love endures forever.and brought Israel through the midst of it, His love endures forever.but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea; His love endures forever. (niv)

We completely destroyed them, as we had done with Sihon king of Heshbon, destroying every city— men, women and children. (niv)

“ Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied,“ but if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said,‘ Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.” (niv)

Then his people recalled the days of old, the days of Moses and his people— where is he who brought them through the sea, with the shepherd of his flock? Where is he who set his Holy Spirit among them,who sent his glorious arm of power to be at Moses’ right hand, who divided the waters before them, to gain for himself everlasting renown,who led them through the depths? Like a horse in open country, they did not stumble;like cattle that go down to the plain, they were given rest by the Spirit of the Lord. This is how you guided your people to make for yourself a glorious name.Look down from heaven and see, from your lofty throne, holy and glorious. Where are your zeal and your might? Your tenderness and compassion are withheld from us. (niv)

They did not remember his power— the day he redeemed them from the oppressor,the day he displayed his signs in Egypt, his wonders in the region of Zoan.He turned their river into blood; they could not drink from their streams.He sent swarms of flies that devoured them, and frogs that devastated them.He gave their crops to the grasshopper, their produce to the locust.He destroyed their vines with hail and their sycamore-figs with sleet.He gave over their cattle to the hail, their livestock to bolts of lightning.He unleashed against them his hot anger, his wrath, indignation and hostility— a band of destroying angels.He prepared a path for his anger; he did not spare them from death but gave them over to the plague.He struck down all the firstborn of Egypt, the firstfruits of manhood in the tents of Ham. (niv)

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, (niv)

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country.But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and though I multiply my signs and wonders in Egypt,he will not listen to you. Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and with mighty acts of judgment I will bring out my divisions, my people the Israelites.And the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring the Israelites out of it.”Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded them.Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.The Lord said to Moses and Aaron,“ When Pharaoh says to you,‘ Perform a miracle,’ then say to Aaron,‘ Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh,’ and it will become a snake.”So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the Lord commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake.Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts:Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.Yet Pharaoh’s heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Pharaoh’s heart is unyielding; he refuses to let the people go. (niv)

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.“ All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
