When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations— the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you—

The Lord your God will bring you into the land. You are going to enter it and take it as your own. He’ll drive out many nations to make room for you. He’ll drive out the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. Those seven nations are larger and stronger than you are.

“ When the Lord your God brings you into the land that you are entering to take possession of it, and clears away many nations before you, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and mightier than you,

为要把比你大比你强的民族，从你面前赶走，然后领你进去，把他们的地赐给你作产业，像今日一样。

“以色列啊，你要听，你今日快要过约旦河，进去赶出比你又大又强的列国，占领坚固、高得顶天的城市。

耶和华你的神要亲自领你们过去，从你们面前消灭这些国的民，使你们得着他们的地，照着耶和华说过的，约书亚要亲自领你们过去。

“你出去和你的仇敌作战的时候，看见马匹、车辆和比你多的人群，你不要怕他们，因为那把你们从埃及地领上来的耶和华你的神，与你同在。

我要差派使者在你前面；我要把迦南人、亚摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人赶出去，

就在那时候，耶和华与亚伯兰立约说：“我已经把这地赐给你的后裔了，就是从埃及河直到幼发拉底河之地；就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。”

灭了迦南地的七族之后，就把那地分给他们为业；

你曾亲手把列国赶出去，却栽培了我们的列祖；你曾苦待众民，却使我们的列祖昌盛。因为他们取得那地，不是靠自己的刀剑；他们得胜，也不是靠自己的膀臂；而是靠你的右手、你的膀臂和你脸上的光，因为你喜悦他们。

耶和华你的神把这些国的民从你面前驱逐出去以后，你心里不要说：‘耶和华把我领进来取得这地，是因着我的义。’其实耶和华从你面前把这些国的民赶出去，是因着他们的恶。

“以色列人哪，现在你们要听我向来教训你们遵行的律例和典章，使你们可以活着，可以进去得着耶和华你们列祖的神赐给你们的地作产业。我吩咐你们的话，你们不可增加，也不可减少，好使你们遵守我吩咐你们的，就是耶和华你们的神的命令。耶和华因巴力．毗珥的事所行的，你们都亲眼看见了；所有跟随巴力．毗珥的人，耶和华你们的神都从你们中间消灭了。

但是你们的孩子，就是你们所说他们必被掳掠的，我要把他们领进去，他们必得着你们厌弃的那地。

耶和华你的神领你进入你要占领为业之地以后，你就要把祝福摆在基利心山上，把咒诅摆在以巴路山上。

照着耶和华说过的，把你所有的仇敌从你面前赶逐出去。

你以莫大的威荣，毁灭了那些起来攻击你的人；你发出烈怒，把他们烧灭像烧禾秸一样。

他在他们面前把外族人赶出去，用绳子量地，分给他们作为产业，又使以色列众支派的人居住在自己的帐棚里。

我举手起誓要给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地，我必领你们进去；我也必把那地赐给你们作产业；我是耶和华。’”

我必在你面前打发大黄蜂，把希未人、迦南人、赫人，都从你面前驱逐出去。

因为我把他们领进了我向他们的列祖起誓应许的地，就是流奶与蜜的地，他们在那里吃饱了，发胖了，就必偏向别的神，事奉他们，藐视我，破坏我的约。

“耶和华你的神领你进入他向你列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许给你的地；那里有不是你建造的，又高大又美丽的城市，

却把我们从那里领出来，为要领我们进入他向我们列祖起誓应许的地，要把这地赐给我们。

“以下是耶和华你们的神吩咐我教导你们的诫命、律例、典章，使你们在将要过去占领为业的地上遵行，
