爾必曰、我昔在埃及為法老服役、耶和華施其大能、導我出彼、

必告之曰、我儕昔在伊及為法老之奴、主施展大能、導我出伊及、

tell him:“ We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

If they do ask you, tell them,“ We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. But the Lord used his mighty hand to bring us out of Egypt.

then you shall say to your son,‘ We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. And the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

tell him,‘ We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand.

then you shall say to your son,‘ We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt, and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

you must say to them,“ We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt, but the LORD brought us out of Egypt in a powerful way.

then you shall tell your son,“ We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. Yahweh brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand;

Don’t forget that you Gentiles used to be outsiders. You were called“ uncircumcised heathens” by the Jews, who were proud of their circumcision, even though it affected only their bodies and not their hearts.In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope.

“ I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.

Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you.Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.

“ You saw the misery of our ancestors in Egypt, and you heard their cries from beside the Red Sea.You displayed miraculous signs and wonders against Pharaoh, his officials, and all his people, for you knew how arrogantly they were treating our ancestors. You have a glorious reputation that has never been forgotten.

So Moses said to the people,“ This is a day to remember forever— the day you left Egypt, the place of your slavery. Today the Lord has brought you out by the power of his mighty hand.( Remember, eat no food containing yeast.)

Give thanks to him who killed the firstborn of Egypt. His faithful love endures forever.He brought Israel out of Egypt. His faithful love endures forever.He acted with a strong hand and powerful arm. His faithful love endures forever.

You performed miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt— things still remembered to this day! And you have continued to do great miracles in Israel and all around the world. You have made your name famous to this day.“ You brought Israel out of Egypt with mighty signs and wonders, with a strong hand and powerful arm, and with overwhelming terror.

“ But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand forces him.

“ I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.

“ You must then say in the presence of the Lord your God,‘ My ancestor Jacob was a wandering Aramean who went to live as a foreigner in Egypt. His family arrived few in number, but in Egypt they became a large and mighty nation.When the Egyptians oppressed and humiliated us by making us their slaves,we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors. He heard our cries and saw our hardship, toil, and oppression.So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand and powerful arm, with overwhelming terror, and with miraculous signs and wonders.He brought us to this place and gave us this land flowing with milk and honey!

Remember that you were once slaves in the land of Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you! That is why I am giving you this command.

“ Listen to me, all who hope for deliverance— all who seek the Lord! Consider the rock from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were mined.

Remember that you were once slaves in Egypt, but the Lord your God brought you out with his strong hand and powerful arm. That is why the Lord your God has commanded you to rest on the Sabbath day.
