so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.

Then you, your children and their children after them will honor the Lord your God as long as you live. Obey all his rules and commands I’m giving you. If you do, you will enjoy long life.

摩西对百姓说：“不要害怕；因为上帝降临是要考验你们，要你们敬畏他，不致犯罪。”

我今日吩咐你的律例诫命，你要遵守，使你和你的后裔可以得福，并使你的日子一直在耶和华—你上帝赐你的地上得以长久。”

这些事都已听见了，结论就是：敬畏上帝，谨守他的诫命，这是人当尽的本分。

因为经上说：“凡要爱惜生命、享受好日子的人，要禁止舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话。也要弃恶行善，寻求和睦，一心追求。

你要敬畏耶和华—你的上帝，事奉他，紧紧跟随他，奉他的名起誓。

“‘当孝敬父母，正如耶和华—你上帝所吩咐的，使你得福，并使你的日子在耶和华—你上帝所赐给你的地上得以长久。

既然你们称那不偏待人、按各人行为审判人的主为父，就当存敬畏的心，度你们在世寄居的日子。

凡敬畏耶和华、遵行他道的人有福了！

我儿啊，不要忘记我的教诲，你的心要谨守我的命令，因为它们必加给你长久的日子，生命的年数与平安。

因慈爱和信实，罪孽得赎；敬畏耶和华的，远离恶事。

天使说：“不可在这孩子身上下手！一点也不可伤害他！现在我知道你是敬畏上帝的人了，因为你没有把你的儿子，就是你的独子，留下不给我。”

你们要走耶和华—你们的上帝所吩咐的一切道路，使你们可以存活得福，并使你们的日子在所要承受的地上得以长久。”

也要殷勤教导你的儿女。无论你坐在家里，走在路上，躺下，起来，都要吟诵。

我提醒你们该怕的是谁：该怕那杀了以后又有权柄把人扔在地狱里的。是的，我告诉你们，正要怕他。

敬畏耶和华是智慧的开端，凡遵行他命令的有美好的见识。耶和华是永远当赞美的！

他对人说：‘看哪，敬畏主就是智慧；远离恶事就是聪明。’”

“以色列啊，现在耶和华—你的上帝向你要的是什么呢？只要你敬畏耶和华—你的上帝，遵行他一切的道，爱他，尽心尽性事奉耶和华—你的上帝，遵守耶和华的诫命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，为要使你得福。

我们不要向子孙隐瞒这些事，而要将耶和华的美德和他的能力，并他所行的奇事，述说给后代听。他在雅各中立法度，在以色列中设律法；他吩咐我们的祖宗要传给子孙，使将要生的后代子孙可以晓得。他们也要起来告诉他们的子孙，好让他们仰望上帝，不忘记上帝的作为，惟遵守他的命令；不要像他们的祖宗，是顽梗悖逆、心不坚定，向上帝心不忠实之辈。

我拣选他，为要叫他命令他的子孙和后代家属遵行耶和华的道，秉公行义，使耶和华所应许亚伯拉罕的话都实现了。”

你在何烈山站在耶和华—你上帝面前的那日，耶和华对我说：‘你为我召集百姓，我要叫他们听见我的话，使他们活在世上的日子，可以学习敬畏我，又可以教导他们的儿女。’

总要放母鸟走，只可以取小鸟。这样你就可以享福，日子得以长久。

她的右手有长寿，左手有富贵。
