Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors,

「你們還說：『兒子為甚麼不擔當父親的罪孽呢？』兒子若行公平公義的事，謹守遵行我一切的律例，他必要存活。

「你要謹慎，免得忘記耶和華－你的神，不守他的誡命、典章、律例，就是我今日吩咐你的。

「惡人若回轉離開所做的一切罪惡，謹守我的一切律例，行公平公義的事，他必要存活，不致死亡。

他所犯的一切罪必不被記念；他行了公平公義的事，必要存活。

差我來的那位與我同在；他沒有撇下我獨自一人，因為我一直行他所喜悅的事。」

他說：「你若留心聽從耶和華－你神的話，行我眼中看為正的事，側耳聽我的誡令，遵守我一切的律例，我就不將所加於埃及人的疾病加在你身上，因為我是醫治你的耶和華。」

你們要走耶和華－你們的神所吩咐的一切道路，使你們可以存活得福，並使你們的日子在所要承受的地上得以長久。」

你們要對義人說，他是有福的，因為他必吃自己行為所結的果實。

因此你的僕人受警戒，遵守這些有極大的賞賜。

不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。

「人若是公義，行公平公義的事：

因為你聽從耶和華－你神的話，遵守我今日所吩咐你的一切誡命，行耶和華－你神眼中看為正的事。」

你要謹守聽從我所吩咐的一切話，好讓你和你的子孫可以永遠得福，因為你行耶和華－你神眼中看為善、看為正的事。」

智慧人必明白這些事，聰明人必知道這一切。耶和華的道是正直的，義人行在其中，罪人卻在其上跌倒。

惡人若回轉離開所行的惡，行公平公義的事，他必救自己的命；
