houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant— then when you eat and are satisfied,

It has houses filled with all kinds of good things you didn’t provide. The land has wells you didn’t dig. And it has vineyards and groves of olive trees you didn’t plant. You will have plenty to eat.

and houses full of all good things that you did not fill, and cisterns that you did not dig, and vineyards and olive trees that you did not plant— and when you eat and are full,

The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant. When you have eaten your fill in this land,

houses full of every good thing that you did not fill them with, cisterns that you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant— and when you eat and are satisfied,

如爾聽從、守此法度、則爾之上帝耶和華與爾祖所發之誓、欲矜恤爾者、必踐其言。於所誓爾祖、欲錫爾之地、將眷愛爾曹、錫爾純嘏、俾爾昌熾、使爾誕育、牛羊蕃息、物產豐亨、酒穀與油、不可勝數。爾蒙錫嘏、較四方之民尤多、男女牲畜、無不生育。耶和華於爾中除諸疾疫、埃及人所患之厲病、爾所識者、必不加爾、乃加爾敵。爾之上帝耶和華、以他民付爾、爾勿姑縱、乃必殲滅、勿事其上帝、恐陷爾於坎阱。勿意謂斯民、較我眾多、曷能驅逐。爾毋畏、當憶疇昔、爾上帝耶和華降罰於法老、與埃及。

爾食果腹、必以所賜之腴壤、頌爾之上帝耶和華。慎勿忘之、今日所垂之誡命、法度禮儀、不可違逆、既建美室以居、食而果腹、牛羊蕃息、金銀無數、所有之物、既豐且盛、恐爾驕奢、忘爾之上帝耶和華、昔導爾出埃及、脫爾於賤役、經歷曠野、其境甚廣、其形可畏、在彼有毒蛇、蠍蟲、既至無水之地、則由堅磐出水、以飲爾曹、居於曠野、以爾祖未識之嗎嗱飼爾、使爾自卑、以試爾心、終有裨益。恐爾意謂由己力己能、獲此貨財。當憶爾上帝耶和華以能賜爾、俾爾致富、以踐所許爾祖之盟約、即以今日所有者為證、如爾忘爾上帝耶和華、從他上帝、以奉拜之、我今日告爾、爾必死亡。既違爾上帝耶和華命、則必見滅、如四方之民、為耶和華所滅然。

衣爾以繡、以貂皮作履、以棉為巾幗、以絲為長服、加以首飾、著釧於手、垂金於項、置環於鼻、懸珥於耳、戴冕於首、備極華美、以金銀飾爾之體、以棉絲絺繡、被爾之身、以麵及蜜與油、果爾之腹、遂成艷麗、邦國之興、亦若是。主耶和華又曰、爾有殊色、榮煌赫奕、名震列邦、我使之然。惟爾自恃其美、聲名洋溢、故縱私欲、無論何人、隨在與之行淫。爾取衣服、五彩俱備、飾諸崇坵、狥欲而行、自昔迄今、未有若此、後亦無有。爾亦取我所賜之金銀珍寶、作人之像、狥欲而行、覆之以繡衣、以我之膏油、及芬芳之品、置於其前、以我賜爾養生之麵、及油與蜜、陳於其前、以為芬馥、誠有斯事、我耶和華已言之矣。我賜爾生子女、爾以子女獻而焚之、爾狥欲若此、豈為細故。

耶書崙體胖、桀驁不馴、肥而多脂、上帝造之、彼反違逆、上帝拯之、彼反藐視。

耶穌謂門徒曰、我誠告爾、富人入天國、難矣哉、我又語汝、駝穿針孔、較富人入上帝國、尤易也、

斯世之人、宜聽我言、我眷佑以色列族、詎若幽曠之野、杳冥之域哉。何以我民放縱、不肯詣予。處女之簪珥、新婦之衣裳、無刻或忘、惟我民忘予、歷時已久。

以色列族行惡於耶和華前、忘其上帝耶和華、事諸巴力亞大綠、

願闢虛誕、或貧或富、匪我思存、惟求足食而已。恐富而侈、不崇事耶和華、或貧而盜、妄發誓言。
