勿拜跪、勿崇奉、以我耶和華爾之上帝、乃忌邪之上帝、惡我者討其罪、自父及子、至三四世、

毋拜跪、毋崇奉、以我耶和華即爾之上帝、斷不容以他上帝匹我、惡我者禍之、自父及子、至三四世、

毋跪拜、毋崇事、蓋我耶和華爾之天主、乃忌邪之天主、或作不容人崇奉別神惡我者、我必討其罪、以及子孫、至三四代、

You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

Do not bow down to them or worship them. I am the Lord your God. I want you to worship only me. I cause the sins of the parents to affect their children. I will cause the sins of those who hate me to affect even their grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected— even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.

Do not bow in worship to them, and do not serve them, because I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me,

You shall not worship them nor serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, inflicting the punishment of the fathers on the children, even on the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I, Jehovah, thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me;

You must not bow down to them or worship them, because I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the fathers’ sin to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God[ am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth[ generation] of them that hate me,

You must not worship or serve them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God. I punish the sons, grandsons, and great-grandsons for the sin of the fathers who reject me,

You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them; for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me;

「不可為自己雕刻偶像，也不可做甚麼形像，彷彿上天、下地和地底下水中的百物。不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它們，因為我耶和華－你的上帝是忌邪的上帝。恨我的，我必懲罰他們的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代；愛我，守我誡命的，我必向他們施慈愛，直到千代。

為千代的人存留慈愛，赦免罪孽、過犯和罪惡，萬不以有罪的為無罪，必懲罰人的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代。」

我向耶和華－我的上帝祈禱、認罪，說：「主啊，你是大而可畏的上帝，向愛主、守主誡命的人守約施慈愛。我們犯罪作惡，行惡叛逆，偏離你的誡命典章，沒有聽從你僕人眾先知奉你的名向我們君王、官長、祖先和這地所有百姓所說的話。主啊，你是公義的，但我們猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民，並你所趕到各國的以色列眾人，不論遠近，因為背叛了你，臉上蒙羞，正如今日一樣。耶和華啊，我們和我們的君王、官長、祖先因得罪了你，臉上就都蒙羞。主－我們的上帝是憐憫饒恕人的，我們卻違背了他，

不可敬拜別神，因為耶和華是忌邪的上帝，他的名是忌邪者。

『耶和華不輕易發怒，且有豐盛的慈愛。他赦免罪孽和過犯，萬不以有罪的為無罪，必懲罰人的罪，從父到子，直到三、四代。』

你施慈愛給千萬人，又將祖先的罪孽報應在他後世子孫身上。至大全能的上帝啊，萬軍之耶和華是你的名，

就福音來說，他們為你們的緣故是仇敵；就揀選來說，他們因列祖的緣故是蒙愛的。因為上帝的恩賜和選召是不會撤回的。

如此，地上所有義人流的血都歸到你們身上，從義人亞伯的血起，直到你們在聖所和祭壇中間所殺的巴拉加的兒子撒迦利亞的血為止。我實在告訴你們，這一切的罪都要歸到這世代了。」
