“ I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates;for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy.“ Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.“ You shall not murder.“ You shall not commit adultery.“ You shall not steal.“ You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.“ You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

He appointed it in Joseph for a covenant, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I didn’t know.“ I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

But you who were faithful to Yahweh your God are all alive today.

“‘ You shall make for yourselves no idols, and you shall not raise up a carved image or a pillar, and you shall not place any figured stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am Yahweh your God.“‘ You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am Yahweh.
