At that time I was standing between the LORD and you to report the word of the LORD to you, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain. And he said:

( I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

( I was standing between the LORD and you at that time to reveal to you the message of the LORD, because you were afraid of the fire and would not go up the mountain.) He said:

( I stood between Yahweh and you at that time, to show you Yahweh’s word; for you were afraid because of the fire, and didn’t go up onto the mountain) saying,

然則律法何益、曰、為罪愆而設、待受應許之裔至焉、且律法傳授、藉天使、託中保之手、

至第三日黎明、山上有雷電密雲、角聲甚厲、營中之民、無不戰慄、

眾民見雷電交作、角鳴甚厲、山上騰煙、遂退而遠立、謂摩西曰、求爾與我言、我聽之、願天主不與我言、恐我死亡、摩西謂民曰、毋懼、蓋天主降臨為試爾、又為使爾恆敬畏之、俾爾不至犯罪、於是民遠立、惟摩西前、入於密雲、至天主前、

爾所至者、非彼可捫之山、在彼有烈火、密雲、幽暗、暴風、號角之音、傳語之聲、聞其聲者、求毋復與之言、有命之云、近此山者、雖走獸亦必以石擊、或以箭射、此命、彼眾不能當之、且所見者、可畏之甚、致摩西云、我恐懼戰慄、爾曹所至者、乃郇山、永生天主之城、天上之耶路撒冷、在彼有千萬天使聚集、有名錄於天諸長子之會、有審判眾人之天主、有義人得全者之靈、有新約之中保耶穌、及所灑之血、此血彷彿有言、較亞伯血之言尤善、

惟摩西可近我耶和華前、其餘不可近、民亦不可與摩西同上、摩西下、以主之諸言諸例告於民、民同聲應曰、凡主所諭之言、我必遵行、

蓋基督非入手造之聖所、即真聖所之影像、乃實入於天、今為我儕立於天主前、

率之者、必屬其族、治之者、出自其中、我許其親近我、則可親近我、則可親近我或作可進於我前不然、孰擅敢親近我、此乃主所言、

請爾近前、聽主我之天主所言、爾以主我之天主所諭爾之言傳於我、我必聽從遵行、

主使我於異象中見大祭司約書亞、或作主示我以大祭司約書亞立於主之使者前、撒但立其右、以敵之、以敵之或作以禦又作以訟之主告撒但曰、撒但歟、我耶和華責爾、我耶和華選耶路撒冷者責爾、斯人如拔出於火之片柴、斯人如拔出於火之片柴原文作此非拔出於火之片柴乎約書亞衣污衣、立於天使前、彼謂立於其前者或作主告左右曰、當解其污衣、又謂約書亞曰、我除爾愆尤、衣爾美衣、我或作又曰、當以華冠冠其首、遂以華冠冠其首、又衣之以美衣、主之使者立於側、

惟時主云將翦滅之、幸有主所選之摩西、立於主前、挽回主怒、不行誅戮、

二人離彼、望所多瑪以行、亞伯拉罕尚立於主前、
