Did any people ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live?

And the Lord said to Moses,“ Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.” So Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.

We have seen this day that God speaks with man; yet he still lives.Now therefore, why should we die? I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?”
