耶和華啊！我是你的僕人，是你的僕人，是你婢女的兒子。你除去了我的鎖鏈。

耶和華說：「追求公義、尋求我的人啊，聽我說。你們要追想那磐石，你們是從那裡被鑿出來的；你們要追想那岩穴，你們是從那裡被挖出來的。你們要追想你們的祖先亞伯拉罕和生你們的撒拉。我呼召亞伯拉罕的時候，他是孤身一人，但我賜福給他，使他子孫眾多。

祂苦他們所苦，親自拯救他們。祂本著慈愛和憐憫救贖了他們，自古以來一直扶持、照顧他們。

因此，你們要記住，從前按照肉體來說你們是外族人，那些肉體上受過人手所行割禮的以色列人稱你們為「沒有受過割禮的」。那時，你們與基督無關，又不是以色列人，在上帝應許的諸約上是局外人，你們活在世上沒有盼望，沒有上帝。

有哪個神明像你們的上帝耶和華那樣在埃及當著你們的面降災禍、行神蹟奇事、興起戰爭、伸出臂膀、施展大能的手、以偉大而可畏的作為拯救一族脫離異邦？耶和華行這樣的事，是要叫你們知道祂是上帝，除祂以外，別無他神。祂讓你們聽見祂從天上來的聲音，好教導你們，又在地上讓你們看見祂的烈火，並聽見祂在烈火中說的話。因為祂愛你們的祖先，所以揀選你們，親自用大能把你們從埃及領出來，

主耶穌為我們犧牲自己，要救贖我們脫離一切罪惡，並潔淨我們，使我們作祂的子民，成為熱心行善的人。

要把我們從仇敵手中拯救出來，使我們一生一世在聖潔和公義中坦然無懼地事奉祂。
