Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say,“ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.”

Be careful to keep them. That will show the nations how wise and understanding you are. They will hear about all these rules. They’ll say,“ That great nation certainly has wise and understanding people.”

Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say,‘ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

Obey them completely, and you will display your wisdom and intelligence among the surrounding nations. When they hear all these decrees, they will exclaim,‘ How wise and prudent are the people of this great nation!’

Carefully follow them, for this will show your wisdom and understanding in the eyes of the peoples. When they hear about all these statutes, they will say,‘ This great nation is indeed a wise and understanding people.’

So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say,‘ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say,‘ surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

敬畏主乃智慧之發端、遵行主命者、乃為聰明人、主受讚美、至於永遠、

因以曉人曰、敬畏主、此即智慧、遠離惡事、此即明哲、

爾自幼識聖經、聖經能使爾有智慧、由信基督而得救、

敬畏天主、是為智慧之本、愚昧人藐視智慧與訓誨、

有人來自萬邦、聽所羅門智慧之言、天下列王、聞其智慧、皆遣使來朝、

爾中誰有智慧知識、當以智慧溫柔、由善行而彰其所為、

主之律法純全、可以蘇醒人心、主之法度真實、可以使愚人有智慧、

我今日呼天地為證、我以生命死亡、福與禍福與禍或作福祉咒詛置於爾前、爾當選生命、俾爾及爾子孫、俱可得生、主爾之天主、乃爾之生命、使爾長壽、當敬愛之、聽其命而親慕之、則可久居在主所誓於爾祖亞伯拉罕以撒雅各欲賜之地、

謂王曰、我在我國、聞爾之事與爾之智慧、其言真實不虛、我初不信其言、及我來目睹之、乃知人所告我者、猶未及其半、爾之智慧與爾之福祉、過於我所聞之風聲、爾群臣有福、爾僕役恆侍爾前、聞爾智慧之言、誠為有福、當頌美主爾之天主、因喜悅爾、使爾登以色列之國位、主恆愛以色列、故立爾為王、秉公行義、以聽其訟、

萬有之主曰、列邦之民、必稱爾有福、爾國必為樂國、

達者之智、在明己道、愚者之拙、在乎自欺、

自稱為智者、必愧怍驚恐而見拘、彼棄主言、焉得為智乎、

萬有之主如是云、列邦之人、多邑之居民將至、此邑之居民、往見彼邑之居民曰、莫若速往籲禱於主前、尋求萬有之主、我亦偕往、眾多之民、強大之邦、或作諸國之民多邦之人將至耶路撒冷尋求萬有之主、籲禱於主前、萬有之主如是云、當是日諸異邦之人、將執猶大人之衣襟、十人執一人之衣襟曰、我聞天主祐祐原文作偕爾、故欲與爾偕行、

爾國中有一人、素為聖神明之神所感、爾父爾父或作爾祖下同之時、人謂其具聰明頴悟、智慧與神明之智慧無異、爾父尼布甲尼撒王立之為博士、術士、迦勒底人、星士之長、其名但以理、尼布甲尼撒王稱之曰伯提沙撒、心靈性敏、有知識、具聰明、解夢兆、明隱語、釋奧義、釋奧義或作能分辨難解之奧義下同今可召之至、必能解其文字之意、於是但以理召至王前、王謂之曰、昔我父王父王或作祖王自猶大地、遷移猶大民至此、爾即其中之但以理乎、我聞爾素為神明之神所感、聰明頴悟、智慧俱備、今諸哲士與術士、俱召入我前、使讀此文字、解意以示我、咸不能焉、我聞爾善解說、釋奧義、爾若能讀此文字、解其意以示我、則必身衣紫袍、項垂金索、治理我國、位居第三、

王以諸事問之、則知其智慧明哲、愈於通國之博士術士、且愈十倍、或作王以諸學眾理考問之見彼較通國之博士術士勝於十倍

主之誡命、我常謹守、因此我之智慧勝於敵人、我之通達勝於諸師、因我思念主之法度、我有知識、逾於老成人、因我遵守主之命令、

博士長伯提沙撒歟、我知爾素為聖神明之神所感、凡奧秘之事、爾無不明晰、今我得夢、爾解其兆、爾解其兆或作爾為我解之
