守之行之、是為爾之智慧通達、在列邦民前、彼聞此典章、必曰、此大國、乃智慧通達之民也、

爾守此法、則可為智、四方之民聞此禮儀、必曰斯民昌大、智慧俱備、

當謹守遵行、此即爾之智慧明哲在列邦眾民前、彼聞此律例、必曰、斯民昌大、智慧明哲俱備、

Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding to the nations, who will hear about all these decrees and say,“ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.”

Be careful to keep them. That will show the nations how wise and understanding you are. They will hear about all these rules. They’ll say,“ That great nation certainly has wise and understanding people.”

Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say,‘ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

Obey them completely, and you will display your wisdom and intelligence among the surrounding nations. When they hear all these decrees, they will exclaim,‘ How wise and prudent are the people of this great nation!’

Carefully follow them, for this will show your wisdom and understanding in the eyes of the peoples. When they hear about all these statutes, they will say,‘ This great nation is indeed a wise and understanding people.’

So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say,‘ Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say,‘ surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, that shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

Carefully follow them, for this will show your wisdom and understanding in the eyes of the peoples. When they hear about all these statutes, they will say,‘ This great nation is indeed a wise and understanding people.’

Keep therefore and do[ them]; for this[ is] your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation[ is] a wise and understanding people.

So be sure to do them, because this will testify of your wise understanding to the people who will learn of all these statutes and say,“ Indeed, this great nation is a very wise people.”

敬畏耶和華是智慧的開端；凡是這樣行的都是明智的。耶和華該受讚美，直到永遠。

他對人說：‘敬畏主就是智慧，遠離邪惡就是聰明。’”

並且知道自己從小就明白聖經，這聖經能夠使你有智慧，可以因信基督耶穌得著救恩。

敬畏耶和華是知識的開端，但愚妄人藐視智慧和教訓。

萬族之中和地上列王之中，聽聞所羅門的智慧的，都有人來聽所羅門的智慧。（本章第21~34節在《馬索拉文本》為5:1~14）

你們中間誰是有智慧、有見識的呢？他就應當有美好的生活，用明智的溫柔，把自己的行為表現出來。

耶和華的律法是完全的，能使人心甦醒；耶和華的法度是堅定的，能使愚人有智慧。

我今日呼天喚地向你們作證，我把生與死，福與禍，都擺在你面前了；所以你要選擇生命，好讓你和你的後裔都可以活著，愛耶和華你的神，聽從他的話，緊靠他，因為那就是你的生命，你的長壽；這樣，你才能在耶和華向你的列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許要賜給他們的地上居住。”

於是她對王說：“我在本國聽見有關你的事和你的智慧，原來都是真的；以前我並不相信那些話，等到我來了，親眼看見，才知道人告訴我的還不到一半；你的智慧和財富，超過我所聽聞的。屬你的人是有福的，你的這些臣僕是有福的，他們常常侍立在你面前，聆聽你的智慧。耶和華你的神是應當稱頌的！他喜悅你，使你坐在以色列的王位上；因為耶和華永遠喜愛以色列，所以立你作王，要你秉行公義。”

萬軍之耶和華說：“萬國都要稱你們為有福，因為你們的地必成為喜樂之地。”

精明人的智慧能分辨自己的道路；愚昧人的愚妄卻欺騙自己。

智慧人必蒙羞，驚惶失措。看哪！他們棄絕了耶和華的話，他們還有甚麼智慧呢？

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘將來還有萬族的人和多個城市的居民要來。一城的居民到另一城去，對他們說：我們快去懇求耶和華施恩，求告萬軍之耶和華；我自己也去。必有很多的民族和強大的國家前來，在耶路撒冷求告萬軍之耶和華，懇求他施恩。’“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘在那些日子，必有十個說不同方言，來自列國的人，緊抓住一個猶大人的衣襟，說：讓我們與你們同去吧，因為我們聽見神與你們同在。’”

在你國中有一個人，他裡面有聖神的靈；你先祖在世的日子，發現這人有灼見，有聰明，有智慧，好像神的智慧一樣。你先祖尼布甲尼撒王，就是王的先祖，曾立他為術士、用法術的，以及迦勒底人和占星家的領袖。這都因為在這但以理裡面有美好的靈性，有知識，有聰明，能解夢，釋謎語，能解答難題；這人尼布甲尼撒王曾給他起名叫伯提沙撒。現在可以把但以理召來，他必能解釋牆上文字的意思。”於是但以理被帶到王面前，王問但以理說：“你就是我先王從猶大擄來的猶大人但以理嗎？我聽說你裡面有神的靈，有灼見，有聰明，有高超的智慧。現在智慧人和用法術的都被帶到我面前了，我要他們讀這文字，把文字的意思向我說明，可是他們都不能解釋這文字的意思。我聽說你能解釋異夢，也能解答難題。現在你若能讀這文字，把它的意思向我說明，就必身穿紫袍，頸戴金鍊，在國中掌權，位列第三。”

王考問他們一切智慧和聰明的事，就發現他們比全國所有的術士和用法術的更勝十倍。

你的命令使我比我的仇敵更有智慧，因為你的命令常存在我裡面。我比我所有的老師明智，因為我默想你的法度。我比老年人更明理，因為我遵守你的訓詞。

‘術士的領袖伯提沙撒啊！因為我知道你裡面有聖神的靈，沒有甚麼隱祕的事能難倒你；因此，你要把我夢中所見的異象和夢的意思告訴我。
