於是我儕居於伯毘珥相對之谷中、

當時我自二亞摩利王手取約但東之地、自亞嫩溪至黑門山、

得其地、亦得巴珊王噩之地、即約但東二亞摩利王之地、

時、摩西已殺居希實本之亞摩利王西宏、居以得來與亞斯他錄之巴珊王噩、在約但東、在摩押地、摩西始宣講此律法書所載者曰、

我儕既在約但東得地業、自不欲同彼等得業在約但西、

以色列人遣使往見亞摩利王西宏曰、容我過爾地、我不入田畝、不入葡萄園、不飲井中之水、但由大道大道原文作王道而行、以過爾境、西宏不容以色列人過其境、乃集眾民、出至曠野、欲攻以色列人、至雅哈斯、與以色列人戰、以色列人以刃擊之、奪其地、自亞嫩至雅博、直至亞捫族之地、因亞捫族邊界之地、甚為險固、以色列人取亞摩利人諸邑、居於其中、即希實本與其一切鄉里、希實本乃亞摩利王西宏之都城、昔西宏與摩押先王戰、盡取其地、直至亞嫩、故作歌者云、爾來至希實本、西宏之邑、被建被造、火自希實本而發、烈焰出自西宏都、焚燬摩押之亞珥、焚燬亞嫩溪旁巴末之居民、巴末之居民或作崇邱之居民摩押人歟、爾有禍、基抹民歟、爾已滅亡、其男奔逃、其女被掠、為亞摩利王西宏所擄、我已射之、希實本以及底本偕亡、我已盡滅之、直至挪法、近米底巴、○於是以色列人居亞摩利地、摩西遣人窺探雅塞、遂據其鄉、驅逐居彼之亞摩利人、

希實本王西宏不容我過其地、因主爾之天主使其心意頑梗剛愎、致付於爾手、有如今日之事、時、主諭我曰、我今日以西宏及其地付於爾、爾據其地、始得地為業、於是西宏帥其眾民、出以敵我、至耶哈斯與我戰、主我之天主、付之於我儕、我儕擊之、及其諸子眾民、當時我儕取其諸邑、以諸邑之民、男女以及嬰孩、盡行殲滅、一無所遺、惟牲畜及邑中貨財、為我儕所得、自亞嫩溪濱之亞羅珥及谷中之邑、谷中之邑或作州中之邑至於基列、無鞏固之城、我儕所不能取者、主我之天主盡付於我儕、
