But all of you who were faithful to the Lord your God are still alive today— every one of you.

惟有你们专靠耶和华你们神的人，今日全都存活。

只有你们这紧紧跟随耶和华—你们上帝的人，今日全都存活。

but all of you who held fast to the Lord your God are still alive today.

But all of you who remained true to the Lord your God are still alive today.

But you who have remained faithful to the LORD your God are all alive today.

But you who clung to the Lord your God are alive today, every one of you.

But ye that did cleave unto Jehovah your God are alive every one of you this day.

When he arrived and saw this evidence of God’s blessing, he was filled with joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord.

You must fear the Lord your God and worship him and cling to him. Your oaths must be in his name alone.

Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked,“ Are you also going to leave?”Simon Peter replied,“ Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.”

Rather, cling tightly to the Lord your God as you have done until now.

I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. InterludeCome quickly, Lord, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die.Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.Rescue me from my enemies, Lord; I run to you to hide me.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.For the glory of your name, O Lord, preserve my life. Because of your faithfulness, bring me out of this distress.

I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely.

They have kept themselves as pure as virgins, following the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been purchased from among the people on the earth as a special offering to God and to the Lamb.

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.

And again they wept together, and Orpah kissed her mother in law good bye. But Ruth clung tightly to Naomi.“ Look,” Naomi said to her,“ your sister in law has gone back to her people and to her gods. You should do the same.”But Ruth replied,“ Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!”

Serve only the Lord your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him.

He said to him,“ Walk through the streets of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of all who weep and sigh because of the detestable sins being committed in their city.”

But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.”

Go home, my people, and lock your doors! Hide yourselves for a little while until the Lord’s anger has passed.

Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
