Because he loved your ancestors and chose their descendants after them, he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength,

He loved your people of long ago. He chose their children after them. So he brought you out of Egypt. He used his great strength to do it.

And because he loved your fathers and chose their offspring after them and brought you out of Egypt with his own presence, by his great power,

Because he loved your ancestors, he chose to bless their descendants, and he personally brought you out of Egypt with a great display of power.

當以色列從埃及出來，雅各家離開言語陌生之民的時候，猶大成為耶和華的聖所，以色列成為他的國度。海水看見了就逃跑，約旦河也倒流。群山跳躍如公羊，岡陵跳躍如羊羔。海水啊，你為什麼逃跑呢？約旦河啊，你為什麼倒流呢？群山哪，你為什麼跳躍如公羊呢？岡陵啊，你為什麼跳躍如羊羔呢？

耶和華的眼目向著義人，他的耳朵聽他們的呼求。

耶和華說：「我愛了你們。」你們竟然問：「你是怎麼愛我們的呢？」耶和華宣告：「以掃難道不是雅各的哥哥嗎？我卻愛雅各，

我要使你明達，指示你當走的道路；我要指教你，我的目光在你身上。

祖先也是他們的；照著肉身說，基督也是出自他們的——他是那在萬有之上當受頌讚的神，直到永遠！阿們。

他在他們的一切患難中也受患難，並且他面前的使者拯救了他們。他以自己的愛和憐恤救贖了他們，在古時所有的日子裡舉起他們、背負他們。

耶和華的膀臂啊，醒來，醒來，以力量為衣！醒來吧，就像你在太初的日子、亙古的世代！從前砍碎拉哈伯、刺透海中巨獸的，難道不是你嗎？使海洋深淵之水乾涸的，使海洋深處變為道路，讓救贖之民經過的，難道不是你嗎？蒙耶和華救贖的人必回歸，歡呼著進入錫安；永遠的喜樂必臨到他們的頭上，歡喜快樂要追隨他們，悲哀嘆息卻要逃遁。

向我們的祖先施憐憫，不忘他神聖的約，就是向我們的先祖亞伯拉罕所起的誓，

可是你，以色列啊，我的僕人！雅各啊，我所揀選的，我朋友亞伯拉罕的後裔！你是我從地極領來，從地角召來的；我對你說：「你是我的僕人；我揀選了你，沒有棄絕你。」
