你们说：‘看哪，耶和华—我们的神将他的荣耀和他的伟大显给我们看，我们也听见他从火中发出的声音。今日我们看到神与人说话，人还活着。

基甸见他是耶和华的使者，就说：“哎呀！主耶和华啊！因为我真的面对面看见了耶和华的使者。”

众百姓见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，百姓看见就都战抖，远远站着。他们对摩西说：“请你向我们说话，我们必听；不要让神向我们说话，免得我们死亡。”

因为耶和华—你的神是吞灭的火，是忌邪的神。“你们在那地住久了，生子生孙，若行为败坏，为自己雕刻任何形状的偶像，行耶和华—你神眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒，我今日呼天唤地向你们作见证，你们在过约旦河得为业的地上必迅速灭亡！你们在那地的日子必不长久，必全然灭绝。

西奈山全山冒烟，因为耶和华在火中降临山上。山的烟雾上腾，仿佛烧窑，整座山剧烈震动。角声越来越响，摩西说话，神以声音回答他。

耶和华对摩西说：“你要向以色列人这样说：‘你们亲自看见我从天上向你们说话了。

耶和华把那两块石版交给我，是神用指头写成的；版上是耶和华在大会的那一天，在山上从火中对你们所说的一切话。
