For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.

就向耶和華禱告，說：“耶和華啊！我還在本國的時候，不是這樣說過嗎？我知道你是有恩典有憐憫的神，不輕易發怒，並且有豐盛的慈愛，轉意不降災禍，所以我才急忙逃往他施去。

你們要堅強勇敢；不要害怕，也不要因他們畏懼，因為耶和華你的神與你同去；他決不撇下你，也不離棄你。”

因為他們的緣故，我要記念我與他們祖先所立的約；他們的祖先是我在列國眼前，從埃及地領出來的，為要作他們的神；我是耶和華。”

耶和華有恩典，有公義，我們的神滿有憐憫。

然而因你豐富的憐憫，你不把他們滅盡，也不撇棄他們，因為你是有恩典有憐憫的神。

如果你們是歸向耶和華，你們的親族和兒女就必在俘擄他們的人面前蒙憐憫，可以返回這地；因為耶和華你們的神是有恩惠有憐憫；如果你們歸向他，他必不轉臉不顧你們。”

他向自己的子民施行救贖；他命定自己的約，直到永遠；他的名神聖可畏。

求你為你名的緣故，不要厭棄我們！不要叫你榮耀的寶座蒙羞！求你記念你和我們所立的約，不要廢除！

耶和華有恩典有憐憫，不輕易發怒，大有慈愛。耶和華善待萬有，他的憐憫臨到他一切所造的。

向我們列祖施憐憫，記念他的聖約，

他賜糧食給敬畏他的人；他永遠記念自己的約。

耶和華在摩西面前經過，並且宣告說：“耶和華，耶和華，是有憐憫有恩典的神，不輕易發怒，並且有豐盛的慈愛和誠實，為千千萬萬人留下慈愛，赦免罪孽、過犯和罪惡。一定要清除罪，追討罪孽自父及子至孫，直到三四代。”

你一生的日子必沒有一人能在你面前立得住；我怎樣與摩西同在，也必照樣與你同在；我決不離開你，也不離棄你。

說：“耶和華天上的神，偉大可畏的神啊，你向那些愛你，遵守你誡命的人，守約施慈愛。

大衛又對他的兒子所羅門說：“你要堅強勇敢地去作，不要懼怕，也不要驚惶，因為耶和華神，就是我的神，與你同在；他必不撇下你，也不丟棄你，直到耶和華殿的一切工作都完成。

主啊！你是良善，又樂意饒恕人的，向你呼求的，你都以豐盛的慈愛待他們。

但是，主啊！你是有憐憫有恩典的神，你不輕易發怒，並且有極大的慈愛和信實。

‘耶和華不輕易發怒，且有豐盛的慈愛；他赦免罪孽和過犯；絕不以有罪的為無罪，必追討罪孽，自父到子，直到三四代。’

他永遠記念他的約，他記念他所吩咐的話，直到千代，

有何神像你，赦免罪孽，不追究產業之餘民的過犯呢？他不永遠懷怒，因為他喜愛憐憫。
