我必為他們的緣故履行我與他們祖先所立的約。我曾在列國面前帶領他們的祖先離開埃及，為要做他們的上帝。我是耶和華。」

耶和華仁慈、公義，我們的上帝充滿憐憫。

然而，你大施憐憫，沒有完全毀滅他們，也沒有離棄他們，因為你是有恩典和憐憫的上帝。

你們若歸向祂，你們的弟兄和兒女必蒙擄走他們之人的憐憫，得以回歸此地，因為你們的上帝耶和華有恩典，好憐憫。你們若歸向祂，祂必不會轉臉不顧你們。」

祂救贖了自己的子民，立了永遠的約，祂的名神聖可畏。

為了你的尊名，求你不要厭惡我們，不要讓你榮耀的寶座蒙羞。求你顧念你與我們立的約，不要廢除它。

耶和華有恩典和憐憫，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛。耶和華善待萬民，憐憫祂所造的萬物。

祂憐憫我們的祖先，持守自己的聖約，

祂賜下糧食給那些敬畏祂的人，祂永不忘記自己的約。

耶和華在摩西面前經過，並且宣告說：「我是耶和華，我是耶和華，是有憐憫和恩典的上帝，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛，無比信實，向千萬人彰顯慈愛，赦免罪惡和過犯，但決不免除罪責，必向子孫追討父輩的罪債，直到三四代。」

在你有生之年，沒有人能夠抵擋你。過去我怎樣與摩西同在，也必照樣與你同在，我必不離開你，也不丟棄你。

「天上的上帝耶和華啊，你是偉大而可畏的上帝，你向愛你、守你誡命的人守約，施慈愛。

大衛又對兒子所羅門說：「你要堅定勇敢地去做！不要懼怕，也不要驚慌，因為我的上帝耶和華必不撇下你，也不丟棄你，祂必與你同在，直到聖殿的一切工作完畢。

主啊，你良善仁慈，樂意赦免，以無限的慈愛待一切求告你的人。

但主啊，你是有憐憫和恩典的上帝，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛，無比信實。

『耶和華不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛；祂赦免罪惡和過犯，但決不免除罪責，必向子孫追討父輩的罪債，直到三四代。』

祂永遠記得祂的約，歷經千代也不忘祂的應許，

有何神明像你一樣赦免罪惡，饒恕你倖存子民的過犯？你不會永遠發怒，因為你樂於施恩。
