When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the Lord your God and obey him.

All the things I’ve told you about might happen to you. And you will be in trouble. But later you will return to the Lord your God. You will obey him.

When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice.

“ In the distant future, when you are suffering all these things, you will finally return to the Lord your God and listen to what he tells you.

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, in the future you will return to the LORD your God and obey him.

When you are in distress and all these things happen to you, in the latter days you will return to the Lord your God and listen to His voice.

When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, in the latter days thou shalt return to Jehovah thy God, and hearken unto his voice:

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, you will return to the Lord your God in later days and obey Him.

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee,[ even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;

In your distress when all these things happen to you in the latter days, if you return to the LORD your God and obey him

When you are in oppression, and all these things have come on you, in the latter days you shall return to Yahweh your God and listen to his voice.

Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.

For I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I have commanded you. In days to come, disaster will fall on you because you will do evil in the sight of the Lord and arouse his anger by what your hands have made.”

The anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly.

Then Balaam saw Amalek and spoke his message:“ Amalek was first among the nations, but their end will be utter destruction.”

Then Jacob called for his sons and said:“ Gather around so I can tell you what will happen to you in days to come.

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

“ Even now,” declares the Lord,“ return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.

If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land;

but I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you.

and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him

“ When they sin against you— for there is no one who does not sin— and you become angry with them and give them over to the enemy, who takes them captive to a land far away or near;and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captivity and say,‘ We have sinned, we have done wrong and acted wickedly’;and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and pray toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and toward the temple I have built for your Name;then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their cause. And forgive your people, who have sinned against you.

Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.

First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to him:“ Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.Assyria cannot save us; we will not mount warhorses. We will never again say‘ Our gods’ to what our own hands have made, for in you the fatherless find compassion.”

if you obey the Lord your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God.”

All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you.“ Therefore the curses and sworn judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against you.You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing on us great disaster. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem.Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth.The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him.“ Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong.Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us.“ Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary.Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.”

And in that day I will become angry with them and forsake them; I will hide my face from them, and they will be destroyed. Many disasters and calamities will come on them, and in that day they will ask,‘ Have not these disasters come on us because our God is not with us?’

“ When they sin against you— for there is no one who does not sin— and you become angry with them and give them over to their enemies, who take them captive to their own lands, far away or near;and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captors and say,‘ We have sinned, we have done wrong, we have acted wickedly’;and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to you toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and the temple I have built for your Name;then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause.And forgive your people, who have sinned against you; forgive all the offenses they have committed against you, and cause their captors to show them mercy;for they are your people and your inheritance, whom you brought out of Egypt, out of that iron-smelting furnace.“ May your eyes be open to your servant’s plea and to the plea of your people Israel, and may you listen to them whenever they cry out to you.For you singled them out from all the nations of the world to be your own inheritance, just as you declared through your servant Moses when you, Sovereign Lord, brought our ancestors out of Egypt.”

Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”

Moses told his father-in-law about everything the Lord had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israel’s sake and about all the hardships they had met along the way and how the Lord had saved them.
