In your distress when all these things happen to you in the latter days, if you return to the LORD your God and obey him

至於末日、爾受艱難、此諸災禍臨及爾身、斯時也、爾若歸主爾之天主而聽其命、

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the Lord your God and obey him.

All the things I’ve told you about might happen to you. And you will be in trouble. But later you will return to the Lord your God. You will obey him.

When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice.

“ In the distant future, when you are suffering all these things, you will finally return to the Lord your God and listen to what he tells you.

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, in the future you will return to the LORD your God and obey him.

When you are in distress and all these things happen to you, in the latter days you will return to the Lord your God and listen to His voice.

When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, in the latter days thou shalt return to Jehovah thy God, and hearken unto his voice:

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, you will return to the Lord your God in later days and obey Him.

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee,[ even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;

When you are in oppression, and all these things have come on you, in the latter days you shall return to Yahweh your God and listen to his voice.

Afterward, the Israelites will turn and seek the LORD their God and their Davidic king. Then they will submit to the LORD in fear and receive his blessings in the future.

For I know that after I die you will totally corrupt yourselves and turn away from the path I have commanded you to walk. Disaster will confront you in the days to come because you will act wickedly before the LORD, inciting him to anger because of your actions.”

The anger of the LORD will not turn back until he has fully carried out his intended purposes. In days to come you people will come to understand this clearly.

Then Balaam looked on Amalek and delivered this oracle:“ Amalek was the first of the nations, but his end will be that he will perish.”

Jacob called for his sons and said,“ Gather together so I can tell you what will happen to you in the future.

in these last days he has spoken to us in a son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world.

“ Yet even now,” the LORD says,“ return to me with all your heart– with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Tear your hearts, not just your garments!”Return to the LORD your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and boundless in loyal love– often relenting from calamitous punishment.

If you have a willing attitude and obey, then you will again eat the good crops of the land.

I also explicitly commanded them:“ Obey me. If you do, I will be your God and you will be my people. Live exactly the way I tell you and things will go well with you.”

And by being perfected in this way, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

“ The time will come when your people will sin against you( for there is no one who is sinless!) and you will be angry at them and deliver them over to their enemies, who will take them as prisoners to their land, whether far away or close by.When your people come to their senses in the land where they are held prisoner, they will repent and beg for your mercy in the land of their imprisonment, admitting,‘ We have sinned and gone astray, we have done evil!’When they return to you with all their heart and being in the land where they are held prisoner and direct their prayers toward the land you gave to their ancestors, your chosen city, and the temple I built for your honor,then listen from your heavenly dwelling place to their prayers for help, vindicate them, and forgive your sinful people.

Let us carefully examine our ways, and let us return to the LORD.

but I declared to those in Damascus first, and then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds consistent with repentance.

Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out,

Return to the LORD and repent! Say to him:“ Completely forgive our iniquity; accept our penitential prayer, that we may offer the praise of our lips as sacrificial bulls.Assyria cannot save us; we will not ride warhorses. We will never again say,‘ Our gods’ to what our own hands have made. For only you will show compassion to Orphan Israel!”

if you obey the LORD your God and keep his commandments and statutes that are written in this scroll of the law. But you must turn to him with your whole mind and being.

Then those who are far away will come and build the temple of the LORD so that you may know that the LORD who rules over all has sent me to you. This will all come to pass if you completely obey the voice of the LORD your God.”’”

“ All Israel has broken your law and turned away by not obeying you. Therefore you have poured out on us the judgment solemnly threatened in the law of Moses the servant of God, for we have sinned against you.He has carried out his threats against us and our rulers who were over us by bringing great calamity on us– what has happened to Jerusalem has never been equaled under all heaven!Just as it is written in the law of Moses, so all this calamity has come on us. Still we have not tried to pacify the LORD our God by turning back from our sin and by seeking wisdom from your reliable moral standards.The LORD was mindful of the calamity, and he brought it on us. For the LORD our God is just in all he has done, and we have not obeyed him.“ Now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with great power and made a name for yourself that is remembered to this day– we have sinned and behaved wickedly.O Lord, according to all your justice, please turn your raging anger away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain. For due to our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors, Jerusalem and your people are mocked by all our neighbors.“ So now, our God, accept the prayer and requests of your servant, and show favor to your devastated sanctuary for your own sake.Listen attentively, my God, and hear! Open your eyes and look on our desolated ruins and the city called by your name. For it is not because of our own righteous deeds that we are praying to you, but because your compassion is abundant.O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, pay attention, and act! Don’t delay, for your own sake, O my God! For your city and your people are called by your name.”

At that time my anger will erupt against them and I will abandon them and hide my face from them until they are devoured. Many disasters and distresses will overcome them so that they will say at that time,‘ Have not these disasters overcome us because our God is not among us?’

“ The time will come when your people will sin against you( for there is no one who is sinless!) and you will be angry with them and deliver them over to their enemies, who will take them as prisoners to their own land, whether far away or close by.When your people come to their senses in the land where they are held prisoner, they will repent and beg for your mercy in the land of their imprisonment, admitting,‘ We have sinned and gone astray; we have done evil.’When they return to you with all their heart and being in the land where they are held prisoner, and direct their prayers to you toward the land you gave to their ancestors, your chosen city, and the temple I built for your honor,then listen from your heavenly dwelling place to their prayers for help and vindicate them.Forgive all the rebellious acts of your sinful people and cause their captors to have mercy on them.After all, they are your people and your special possession whom you brought out of Egypt, from the middle of the iron-smelting furnace.“ May you be attentive to your servant’s and your people Israel’s requests for help and may you respond to all their prayers to you.After all, you picked them out of all the nations of the earth to be your special possession, just as you, O sovereign LORD, announced through your servant Moses when you brought our ancestors out of Egypt.”

Now I have come to help you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision pertains to future days.”

Moses told his father-in-law all that the LORD had done to Pharaoh and to Egypt for Israel’s sake, and all the hardship that had come on them along the way, and how the LORD had delivered them.
