彼從巴蘭之言、誘以色列族、逆耶和華、服役於比耳、故耶和華降災於會眾。

上帝曰、昔我得以色列族、如曠野遇葡萄、視爾列祖、如初熟之無花果、然彼往巴力比耳、崇拜可惡之物、我於是痛絕之、與所崇之物無異、

昔在西乃野、摩西與祭司亞倫曾核其眾、迄今被數之時、無一人在者、

昔在比耳、我儕犯罪、耶和華降災會眾、至今罪未盡赦、其事豈微細哉。
