“你们生子生孙，在那地住久了的时候，如果你们败坏自己，制造偶像，制造任何神像的形象，行耶和华你的神看为恶的事，惹他发怒，

“你们在那地住久了，生子生孙，就雕刻偶像，仿佛什么形像，败坏自己，行耶和华你神眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒。

“你们在那地住久了，生子生孙，若行为败坏，为自己雕刻任何形状的偶像，行耶和华—你上帝眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒，

“将来，即使你们在那里安顿已久、子孙满堂，也不可堕落、制造任何形状的神像，不可做你们的上帝耶和华视为邪恶的事，惹祂发怒。

「將來，即使你們在那裡安頓已久、子孫滿堂，也不可墮落、製造任何形狀的神像，不可做你們的上帝耶和華視為邪惡的事，惹祂發怒。

『你們在那地住久了，生子養孫，若敗壞了自己、去造雕像，造任何東西的形像，行永恆主你的上帝所看為壞的事、去惹他發怒，

厥後、爾久居斯土、生子生孫、如其自敗、依像雕偶、作惡於爾上帝耶和華前、以激其怒、

厥後爾久居斯土生子傳孫、自壞心術、雕刻偶像、作惡於汝上帝耶和華前、以干厥怒。

爾將渡約但得地為業、爾久居斯地、生子生孫、若自敗自壞、製造偶像、百物之形像、作惡於主爾天主前、干犯其怒、我今日呼天地為證、爾必於斯地殞亡甚速、不能延長在彼、必致殲滅、

After you have had children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time— if you then become corrupt and make any kind of idol, doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God and arousing his anger,

So don’t make a statue of a god. Don’t commit that horrible sin. Don’t do it even after you have had children and grandchildren. Don’t do it even after you have lived in the land a long time. If you do, that will be an evil thing in the sight of the Lord your God. You will make him angry.

“ When you father children and children’s children, and have grown old in the land, if you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and by doing what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, so as to provoke him to anger,

“ In the future, when you have children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time, do not corrupt yourselves by making idols of any kind. This is evil in the sight of the Lord your God and will arouse his anger.

“ When you have children and grandchildren and have been in the land a long time, and if you act corruptly, make an idol in the form of anything, and do what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, angering him,

“ When you father children and have grandchildren, and you grow old in the land, and you act corruptly, and make an idol in the form of anything, and do what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God to provoke Him to anger,

“ When you beget children and grandchildren and have grown old in the land, and act corruptly and make a carved image in the form of anything, and do evil in the sight of the Lord your God to provoke Him to anger,

When thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have been long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image in the form of anything, and shall do that which is evil in the sight of Jehovah thy God, to provoke him to anger;

“ When you have children and grandchildren and have been in the land a long time, and if you act corruptly, make an idol in the form of anything, and do what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, provoking Him to anger,

When thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt[ yourselves], and make a graven image,[ or] the likeness of any[ thing], and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:

After you have produced children and grandchildren and have been in the land a long time, if you become corrupt and make an image of any kind and do other evil things before the LORD your God that enrage him,

When you shall father children and children’s children, and you shall have been long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a carved image in the form of anything, and shall do that which is evil in Yahweh your God’s sight to provoke him to anger,

恐怕你们败坏自己，为自己制造偶像，制造任何神像的形象，无论是男像或是女像，

他们又把儿女用火烧为祭，并且占卜，行法术，出卖自己去行耶和华看为恶的事，使他发怒。于是耶和华向以色列人大大发怒，把他们从自己面前赶走，只剩下犹大一个支派。连犹大人也不持守耶和华他们的神的吩咐，随从以色列人所行的习俗。

我要舍弃我的产业的余民，把他们交在他们的仇敌手上；他们要成为他们的仇敌的掠物和战利品。因为自从他们的祖先从埃及出来的那天，直到今日，他们一直行我看为恶的事，惹我发怒。’”此外，玛拿西又流了许多无辜人的血，耶路撒冷，从这边直到那边，都满了血。这还是在他使犹大人犯罪，去行耶和华看为恶的事那罪之外。

耶和华对摩西说：“看哪，你快要和你的列祖长眠了；这人民要起来，在他们所要去的地方，在那地的人中，与外族人的神行邪淫，离弃我，破坏我与他们所立的约。到了那日，我必向他们大发烈怒，离弃他们，掩面不顾他们，他们就必被吞灭，并且遭遇很多灾祸和患难。到了那日，他们必说：‘我们遭遇这些灾祸，不是因为我们的神不在我们中间吗？’到了那日，因为他们偏向了别的神，和所作的一切恶事，我必掩面不顾他们。

他行耶和华看为恶的事，好像耶和华在以色列人面前赶走的民族所行的可憎恶的事。

以法莲深深败坏，如同在基比亚的日子一般。神必记得他们的罪孽，惩罚他们的罪恶。

难道我们要激起主的忿怒吗？我们比他更强吗？

耶和华对摩西说：“你下山去吧，因为你的人民，就是你从埃及地领出来的，已经败坏了。

因为我知道我死了以后，你们必完全败坏，偏离我吩咐你们的道路；在末后的日子必有灾祸临到你们身上，因为你们必行耶和华看为恶的事，以你们手所作的事，惹他发怒。”

耶和华的仆人，嫩的儿子约书亚，在一百一十岁的时候就死了。以色列人把他埋葬在他地业的境内，就是以法莲山地，在迦实山北面的亭拿．希烈。那一代的人都归到他们的列祖那里以后，有另一代的人兴起来了；他们不认识耶和华，也不知道耶和华为以色列人所行的事。以色列人行了耶和华看为恶的事，去事奉众巴力；他们离弃了领他们出埃及的耶和华、他们列祖的神，去跟从别的神，就是他们周围各族的神，敬拜他们，惹耶和华发怒。他们离弃了耶和华，去事奉巴力和亚斯他录。耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，就把他们交在抢掠的人手中，他们就抢掠他们；他又把他们完全交在他们四围的仇敌手中，以致他们在仇敌面前再不能站立得住。他们无论去哪里，耶和华的手总是加害他们，好像耶和华说过的，又像耶和华对他们起誓过的；他们就非常困苦。

他行耶和华他的神看为恶的事；耶利米先知奉耶和华的命令警戒他，他仍不在耶利米面前谦卑下来。尼布甲尼撒王曾经使他指着神起誓，他还是背叛了尼布甲尼撒；他顽固执拗，不肯归向耶和华以色列的神。此外，所有的祭司长和人民也都大大地得罪神，随从列国所行一切可憎的事；他们污秽了耶和华在耶路撒冷分别为圣的殿。耶和华他们列祖的神，因为爱惜自己的子民和居所，就常常差派使者警戒他们。他们却戏弄神的使者，藐视他的话，讥诮他的先知，以致耶和华的忿怒临到他的子民身上，直到无法挽救。
