For I am going to die in this land; I am not crossing the Jordan, but you are going to cross, and you will take possession of this good land.

I will die in this land; I will not cross the Jordan; but you are about to cross over and take possession of that good land.

I’ll die here in this land. I won’t go across the Jordan. But you are about to cross over it. You will take that good land as your own.

I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder,knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.And I will also be diligent that at any time after my departure you will be able to call these things to mind.

and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, saying,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Because you have disobeyed the command of the Lord, and have not kept the commandment which the Lord your God commanded you,but have returned and eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which He said to you,“ You are not to eat bread nor drink water”; your dead body will not come to the grave of your fathers.’ ”

“ You only have I known among all the families of the earth; Therefore I will punish you for all your wrongdoing.”
