And be careful not to raise your eyes to heaven and look at the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the heavenly lights, and allow yourself to be drawn away and worship them and serve them, things which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

又恐怕你向天举目观看，见耶和华你的神为天下万民所摆列的日月星，就是天上的万象，自己便被勾引敬拜侍奉它。

又恐怕你向天举目，看见耶和华—你的上帝为天下万民所摆列的日月星辰，就是天上的万象，就被诱惑去敬拜它们，事奉它们。

又恐怕你向天举目，看见耶和华—你的神为天下万民所摆列的日月星辰，就是天上的万象，就被诱惑去敬拜它们，事奉它们。

当你们举目观看你们的上帝耶和华赐给天下万民的日、月、星辰等天上万象时，不要受诱惑去跪拜、供奉它们。

又恐怕你抬头望天，看见日、月、星，就是天上万象的时候，就被勾引，去敬拜和事奉它们，那原是耶和华你们的神分给天下万民享用的。

又恐怕你向天舉目觀看，見耶和華－你的神為天下萬民所擺列的日月星，就是天上的萬象，自己便被勾引敬拜事奉它。

又恐怕你向天舉目，看見耶和華－你的上帝為天下萬民所擺列的日月星辰，就是天上的萬象，就被誘惑去敬拜它們，事奉它們。

又恐怕你向天舉目，看見耶和華－你的神為天下萬民所擺列的日月星辰，就是天上的萬象，就被誘惑去敬拜它們，事奉它們。

當你們舉目觀看你們的上帝耶和華賜給天下萬民的日、月、星辰等天上萬象時，不要受誘惑去跪拜、供奉它們。

又恐怕你抬頭望天，看見日、月、星，就是天上萬象的時候，就被勾引，去敬拜和事奉它們，那原是耶和華你們的神分給天下萬民享用的。

又恐怕你舉目望天，觀看着日、月、星辰、天上的萬象，就被勾引、去敬拜事奉它們，事奉永恆主你的上帝所分給普天下萬族之民的。

又恐爾仰觀於天、見日月星諸象、乃爾上帝耶和華為天下萬民所陳者、受惑而崇事之、

爾仰觀天象、有日月星辰焉、恐爾迷眩、奉事崇拜之、天下億兆既行此、爾之上帝耶和華亦姑聽之、

又恐爾舉目向天、見日月星辰及諸星宿、諸星宿或作諸天像即主爾之天主為天下萬民所陳列者、則自迷惑崇拜奉事、

And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars— all the heavenly array— do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.

When you look up at the heavens, you will see the sun and moon. And you will see huge numbers of stars. Don’t let anyone tempt you to bow down to the sun, moon or stars. Don’t worship things the Lord your God has provided for all the nations on earth.

And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the forces of heaven— don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The Lord your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth.

When you look to the heavens and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the stars in the sky— do not be led astray to bow in worship to them and serve them. The LORD your God has provided them for all people everywhere under heaven.

And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel driven to worship them and serve them, which the Lord your God has given to all the peoples under the whole heaven as a heritage.

and lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the host of heaven, thou be drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Jehovah thy God hath allotted unto all the peoples under the whole heaven.

When you look to the heavens and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the array of heaven— do not be led astray to bow down and worship them. The Lord your God has provided them for all people everywhere under heaven.

And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars,[ even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

When you look up to the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars– the whole heavenly creation– you must not be seduced to worship and serve them, for the LORD your God has assigned them to all the people of the world.

and lest you lift up your eyes to the sky, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the army of the sky, you are drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Yahweh your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole sky.

For he rebuilt the high places which his father Hezekiah had destroyed; and he erected altars for Baal and made an Asherah, just as Ahab king of Israel had done, and he worshiped all the heavenly lights and served them.

And they abandoned all the commandments of the Lord their God and made for themselves cast metal images: two calves. And they made an Asherah, and worshiped all the heavenly lights, and served Baal.

God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also.God placed them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,and to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.

And so the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their heavenly lights.

and that person has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun, the moon, or any of the heavenly lights, which I have commanded not to do,

To Him who made the great lights, For His faithfulness is everlasting:The sun to rule by day, For His faithfulness is everlasting,The moon and stars to rule by night, For His faithfulness is everlasting.

Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light!Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens!They are to praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created.

Then Joshua spoke to the Lord on the day when the Lord turned the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel,“ Sun, stand still at Gibeon, And moon, at the Valley of Aijalon!”So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the Book of Jashar? And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hurry to go down for about a whole day.

For they exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Yours is the day, Yours also is the night; You have prepared the light and the sun.You have established all the boundaries of the earth; You have created summer and winter.

But God turned away and gave them over to serve the heavenly lights; as it is written in the book of the prophets:‘ You did not offer Me victims and sacrifices for forty years in the wilderness, did you, house of Israel?

so that you may prove yourselves to be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

“ Did you present Me with sacrifices and grain offerings in the wilderness for forty years, house of Israel?You also carried along Sikkuth your king and Kiyyun, your images, the star of your gods which you made for yourselves.

You alone are the Lord. You have made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their lights, The earth and everything that is on it, The seas and everything that is in them. You give life to all of them, And the heavenly lights bow down before You.

And he did away with the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entrance of the house of the Lord, by the chamber of Nathan melech the official, which was at the covered courtyard; and he burned the chariots of the sun with fire.

This is what the Lord says, He who gives the sun for light by day And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— The Lord of armies is His name:

If I have looked at the sun when it shone, Or the moon going in splendor,And my heart was secretly enticed, And my hand threw a kiss from my mouth,That too would have been a guilty deed calling for judgment, For I would have denied God above.

Then the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, the priests of the second order, and the doorkeepers to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the utensils that had been made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the heavenly lights; and he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron Valley, and carried their ashes to Bethel.Then he did away with the idolatrous priests whom the kings of Judah had appointed to burn incense on the high places in the cities of Judah and in the surrounding area of Jerusalem, as well as those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun, to the moon, to the constellations, and to all the remaining heavenly lights.

And those who bow down on the housetops to the heavenly lights, And those who bow down and swear to the Lord, but also swear by Milcom,

They will spread them out to the sun, the moon, and to all the heavenly lights, which they have loved, which they have served, which they have followed, which they have sought, and which they have worshiped. They will not be gathered nor buried; they will be like dung on the face of the ground.

This is what the Lord says:‘ If My covenant for day and night does not continue, and I have not established the fixed patterns of heaven and earth,

The houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah will be defiled like the place Topheth, because of all the houses on whose rooftops they burned sacrifices to all the heavenly lights and poured out drink offerings to other gods.” ’ ”

Then He brought me into the inner courtyard of the Lord’s house. And behold, at the entrance to the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty five men with their backs to the temple of the Lord while their faces were toward the east; and they were prostrating themselves eastward toward the sun.
