When you look to the heavens and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the stars in the sky— do not be led astray to bow in worship to them and serve them. The LORD your God has provided them for all people everywhere under heaven.

又恐怕你向天举目观看，见耶和华你的神为天下万民所摆列的日月星，就是天上的万象，自己便被勾引敬拜侍奉它。

又恐怕你向天举目，看见耶和华—你的上帝为天下万民所摆列的日月星辰，就是天上的万象，就被诱惑去敬拜它们，事奉它们。

又恐怕你向天举目，看见耶和华—你的神为天下万民所摆列的日月星辰，就是天上的万象，就被诱惑去敬拜它们，事奉它们。

当你们举目观看你们的上帝耶和华赐给天下万民的日、月、星辰等天上万象时，不要受诱惑去跪拜、供奉它们。

又恐怕你抬头望天，看见日、月、星，就是天上万象的时候，就被勾引，去敬拜和事奉它们，那原是耶和华你们的神分给天下万民享用的。

又恐怕你向天舉目觀看，見耶和華－你的神為天下萬民所擺列的日月星，就是天上的萬象，自己便被勾引敬拜事奉它。

又恐怕你向天舉目，看見耶和華－你的上帝為天下萬民所擺列的日月星辰，就是天上的萬象，就被誘惑去敬拜它們，事奉它們。

又恐怕你向天舉目，看見耶和華－你的神為天下萬民所擺列的日月星辰，就是天上的萬象，就被誘惑去敬拜它們，事奉它們。

當你們舉目觀看你們的上帝耶和華賜給天下萬民的日、月、星辰等天上萬象時，不要受誘惑去跪拜、供奉它們。

又恐怕你抬頭望天，看見日、月、星，就是天上萬象的時候，就被勾引，去敬拜和事奉它們，那原是耶和華你們的神分給天下萬民享用的。

又恐怕你舉目望天，觀看着日、月、星辰、天上的萬象，就被勾引、去敬拜事奉它們，事奉永恆主你的上帝所分給普天下萬族之民的。

又恐爾仰觀於天、見日月星諸象、乃爾上帝耶和華為天下萬民所陳者、受惑而崇事之、

爾仰觀天象、有日月星辰焉、恐爾迷眩、奉事崇拜之、天下億兆既行此、爾之上帝耶和華亦姑聽之、

又恐爾舉目向天、見日月星辰及諸星宿、諸星宿或作諸天像即主爾之天主為天下萬民所陳列者、則自迷惑崇拜奉事、

And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars— all the heavenly array— do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.

When you look up at the heavens, you will see the sun and moon. And you will see huge numbers of stars. Don’t let anyone tempt you to bow down to the sun, moon or stars. Don’t worship things the Lord your God has provided for all the nations on earth.

And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the forces of heaven— don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The Lord your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth.

And be careful not to raise your eyes to heaven and look at the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the heavenly lights, and allow yourself to be drawn away and worship them and serve them, things which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel driven to worship them and serve them, which the Lord your God has given to all the peoples under the whole heaven as a heritage.

and lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the host of heaven, thou be drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Jehovah thy God hath allotted unto all the peoples under the whole heaven.

When you look to the heavens and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the array of heaven— do not be led astray to bow down and worship them. The Lord your God has provided them for all people everywhere under heaven.

And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars,[ even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

When you look up to the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars– the whole heavenly creation– you must not be seduced to worship and serve them, for the LORD your God has assigned them to all the people of the world.

and lest you lift up your eyes to the sky, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the army of the sky, you are drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Yahweh your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole sky.

He rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had destroyed and reestablished the altars for Baal. He made an Asherah, as King Ahab of Israel had done; he also bowed in worship to all the stars in the sky and served them.

They abandoned all the commands of the LORD their God. They made cast images for themselves, two calves, and an Asherah pole. They bowed in worship to all the stars in the sky and served Baal.

God made the two great lights— the greater light to rule over the day and the lesser light to rule over the night— as well as the stars.God placed them in the expanse of the sky to provide light on the earth,to rule the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.

So the heavens and the earth and everything in them were completed.

and has gone to serve other gods by bowing in worship to the sun, moon, or all the stars in the sky— which I have forbidden—

He made the great lights: His faithful love endures forever.the sun to rule by day, His faithful love endures forever.the moon and stars to rule by night. His faithful love endures forever.

Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars.Praise him, highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens.Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he commanded, and they were created.

On the day the LORD gave the Amorites over to the Israelites, Joshua spoke to the LORD in the presence of Israel:“ Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”And the sun stood still and the moon stopped until the nation took vengeance on its enemies. Isn’t this written in the Book of Jashar? So the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed its setting almost a full day.

They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served what has been created instead of the Creator, who is praised forever. Amen.

The day is yours, also the night; you established the moon and the sun.You set all the boundaries of the earth; you made summer and winter.

God turned away and gave them up to worship the stars of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: House of Israel, did you bring me offerings and sacrifices for forty years in the wilderness?

so that you may be children of your Father in heaven. For he causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

“ House of Israel, was it sacrifices and grain offerings that you presented to me during the forty years in the wilderness?But you have taken up Sakkuth your king and Kaiwan your star god, images you have made for yourselves.

You, LORD, are the only God. You created the heavens, the highest heavens with all their stars, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to all of them, and all the stars of heaven worship you.

He did away with the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun. They had been at the entrance of the LORD’s temple in the precincts by the chamber of Nathan-melech, the eunuch. He also burned the chariots of the sun.

“ This is what the LORD says: The one who gives the sun for light by day, the fixed order of moon and stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea and makes its waves roar— the LORD of Armies is his name:

if I have gazed at the sun when it was shining or at the moon moving in splendor,so that my heart was secretly enticed and I threw them a kiss,this would also be an iniquity deserving punishment, for I would have denied God above.

Then the king commanded the high priest Hilkiah and the priests of the second rank and the doorkeepers to bring out of the LORD’s sanctuary all the articles made for Baal, Asherah, and all the stars in the sky. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel.Then he did away with the idolatrous priests the kings of Judah had appointed to burn incense at the high places in the cities of Judah and in the areas surrounding Jerusalem. They had burned incense to Baal, and to the sun, moon, constellations, and all the stars in the sky.

those who bow in worship on the rooftops to the stars in the sky; those who bow and pledge loyalty to the LORD but also pledge loyalty to Milcom;

They will be exposed to the sun, the moon, and all the stars in the sky, which they have loved, served, followed, consulted, and worshiped. Their bones will not be collected and buried but will become like manure on the soil’s surface.

This is what the LORD says: If I do not keep my covenant with the day and with the night, and if I fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,

The houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah will become impure like that place Topheth— all the houses on whose rooftops they have burned incense to all the stars in the sky and poured out drink offerings to other gods.’”

So he brought me to the inner court of the LORD’s house, and there were about twenty-five men at the entrance of the LORD’s temple, between the portico and the altar, with their backs to the LORD’s temple and their faces turned to the east. They were bowing to the east in worship of the sun.
