lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

所以不可墮落，去為自己製造任何形狀的神像——男人、女人、

恐怕你們敗壞自己，為自己製造偶像，製造任何神像的形象，無論是男像或是女像，

那是恐怕你們敗壞自己，為自己造雕像、造任何雕塑物的形像、男的或女的模形、

恐爾自敗、雕偶以仿諸像、或男或女、

恐壞爾心術、雕刻偶像、或似男女、作像像之、

恐爾自敗、為己作偶像、仿諸形像、或男像、或女像、

so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman,

Make sure you don’t commit a horrible sin. Don’t make for yourselves a statue of a god. Don’t make a god that looks like a man or woman or anything else.

beware lest you act corruptly by making a carved image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

So do not corrupt yourselves by making an idol in any form— whether of a man or a woman,

so you don’t act corruptly and make an idol for yourselves in the shape of any figure: a male or female form,

so that you do not act corruptly and make a carved image for yourselves in the form of any figure, a representation of male or female,

lest you act corruptly and make for yourselves a carved image in the form of any figure: the likeness of male or female,

not to act corruptly and make an idol for yourselves in the shape of any figure: a male or female form,

Lest ye corrupt[ yourselves], and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

I say this so you will not corrupt yourselves by making an image in the form of any kind of figure. This includes the likeness of a human male or female,

lest you corrupt yourselves, and make yourself a carved image in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and device of man.

Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them, for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me,

Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of Jehovah your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image in the form of anything which Jehovah thy God hath forbidden thee.

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, that thou broughtest up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

And what great nation is there, that hath statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes saw, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life; but make them known unto thy children and thy children’s children;

To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?

They made a calf in Horeb, And worshipped a molten image.Thus they changed their glory For the likeness of an ox that eateth grass.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
