Then the Lord spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form; there was only a voice.

Then the LORD spoke to you from the fire. You kept hearing the sound of the words, but didn’t see a form; there was only a voice.

And Jehovah spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of words, but ye saw no form; only ye heard a voice.

Then the Lord spoke to you from the fire. You kept hearing the sound of the words, but didn’t see a form; there was only a voice.

Then the LORD spoke to you from the middle of the fire; you heard speech but you could not see anything– only a voice was heard.

Yahweh spoke to you out of the middle of the fire: you heard the voice of words, but you saw no form; you only heard a voice.

The Lord spoke with you face to face at the mountain from the midst of the fire,

“ These words the Lord spoke to your whole assembly at the mountain from the midst of the fire, from the cloud, and from the thick darkness, with a great voice, and He added nothing more. He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

Out of the heavens He let you hear His voice to discipline you; and on earth He let you see His great fire, and you heard His words from the midst of the fire.

“ So be very careful yourselves, since you did not see any form on the day the Lord spoke to you at Horeb from the midst of the fire,

Has any people heard the voice of God speaking from the midst of the fire, as you have heard it, and survived?

And after the earthquake, a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire, a sound of a gentle blowing.When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, a voice came to him and said,“ What are you doing here, Elijah?”

For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such a declaration as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory:“ This is My beloved Son with whom I am well pleased”—and we ourselves heard this declaration made from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

The voice of one calling out,“ Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

A voice says,“ Call out.” Then he answered,“ What shall I call out?” All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field.

For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet when he said,“ The voice of one calling out in the wilderness,‘ Prepare the way of the Lord, Make His paths straight!’ ”

To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare with Him?

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel:‘ You yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven.

and behold, a voice from the heavens said,“ This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Your ears will hear a word behind you, saying,“ This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came out of heaven:“ I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”So the crowd who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying,“ An angel has spoken to Him!”Jesus responded and said,“ This voice has not come for My sake, but for yours.

With him I speak mouth to mouth, That is, openly, and not using mysterious language, And he beholds the form of the Lord. So why were you not afraid To speak against My servant, against Moses?”

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation:

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice from the cloud said,“ This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him!”
