The Lord spoke to you face to face from the fire on the mountain.

“ The Lord spoke these commands in a loud voice to your entire assembly from the fire, cloud, and thick darkness on the mountain; He added nothing more. He wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me.

He let you hear His voice from heaven to instruct you. He showed you His great fire on earth, and you heard His words from the fire.

“ For your own good, be extremely careful— because you did not see any form on the day the Lord spoke to you out of the fire at Horeb—

Has a people heard God’s voice speaking from the fire as you have, and lived?

After the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was a voice, a soft whisper.When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. Suddenly, a voice came to him and said,“ What are you doing here, Elijah?”

For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, a voice came to Him from the Majestic Glory: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him!And we heard this voice when it came from heaven while we were with Him on the holy mountain.

A voice of one crying out: Prepare the way of the Lord in the wilderness; make a straight highway for our God in the desert.

A voice was saying,“ Cry out!” Another said,“ What should I cry out?”“ All humanity is grass, and all its goodness is like the flower of the field.

For he is the one spoken of through the prophet Isaiah, who said: A voice of one crying out in the wilderness: Prepare the way for the Lord; make His paths straight!

Who will you compare God with? What likeness will you compare Him to?

Then the Lord told Moses,“ This is what you are to say to the Israelites: You have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven.

And there came a voice from heaven: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him!

and whenever you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you:“ This is the way. Walk in it.”

Father, glorify Your name!” Then a voice came from heaven:“ I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again!”The crowd standing there heard it and said it was thunder. Others said that an angel had spoken to Him.Jesus responded,“ This voice came, not for Me, but for you.

I speak with him directly, openly, and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. So why were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?”

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him. Listen to Him!
