Then the Lord spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form; there was only a voice.

Then the Lord spoke to you out of the midst of the fire. You heard the sound of words, but saw no form; there was only a voice.

And the Lord spoke to you from the heart of the fire. You heard the sound of his words but didn’t see his form; there was only a voice.

Then the LORD spoke to you from the fire. You kept hearing the sound of the words, but didn’t see a form; there was only a voice.

And Jehovah spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of words, but ye saw no form; only ye heard a voice.

耶和華在山上，從火中，面對面的與你們說話。

“這些話就是耶和華在山上，從火中、密雲中、幽暗裡，大聲對你們全體會眾所說的，並沒有加添甚麼；他把這些話寫在兩塊石版上，交給了我。

他從天上使你聽見他的聲音，為要教導你；又在地上使你看見他的大火，並且叫你聽到他從火中所說的話。

“所以你們要特別小心，謹慎自己，因為耶和華在何烈山從火中對你們說話的那一天，你們沒有看見甚麼形象；

有沒有一個民族聽見神在火中說話的聲音，像你聽見的一樣，還能活著呢？

地震過後有火，耶和華也不在火中；火後有低微柔和的聲音。以利亞聽見了，就用自己的外衣蒙著臉，走出來，站在洞口。忽然有聲音向他說：“以利亞啊，你在這裡幹甚麼？”

因為他從父神得著尊貴榮耀的時候，在極顯赫的榮光中，有這樣的聲音對他說：“這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。”這從天上發出來的聲音，是我們和他同在聖山上的時候，親自聽見過的。

有聲音呼喊說：“你們要在曠野清理耶和華的路，在沙漠修直我們神的大道。

有聲音說：“你呼喊吧！”他問（“他問”或參照《死海古卷》和《七十士譯本》翻譯為“我說”）：“我呼喊甚麼呢？”“所有的人盡都如草；他們的榮美都像野地的花。

以賽亞先知所說：“在曠野有呼喊者的聲音：‘預備主的道，修直他的路！’”就是指著這約翰說的。

你們把誰來跟神相比呢？你們用甚麼形象來與神並列呢？

耶和華對摩西說：“你要對以色列人這樣說：‘你們親自看見我從天上和你們說話了。

又有聲音從天上來，說：“這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。”

每當你偏左或偏右的時候，你必聽見後面有聲音說：“這是正路，要行在其中！”

父啊，願你榮耀你的名！”當時有聲音從天上來，說：“我已經榮耀了我的名，還要再榮耀。”站在旁邊的群眾聽見了，就說：“打雷了。”另外有人說：“有天使對他說話。”耶穌說：“這聲音不是為了我，而是為了你們發出的。

我要與他面對面說話，是親自說的，不是用謎語；他必看見耶和華的形象，你們出言反對我的僕人摩西，為甚麼不懼怕呢？”

這愛子是那看不見的神的形象，是首先的，在一切被造的之上。

彼得還說話的時候，有一朵明亮的雲彩籠罩他們，雲中有聲音說：“這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的，你們要聽他。”
