“请你们问示剑的众人说，是耶路巴力的众子七十人都管理你们好呢？还是一人管理你们好呢？你们又要记念我是你们的骨肉。”

他未见雅各中有罪孽，也未见以色列中有奸恶。耶和华他的神和他同在；有欢呼王的声音在他们中间。

以色列人未有君王治理以先，在以东地作王的记在下面。

现在你要听我的话。我为你出个主意，愿神与你同在。你要替百姓到神面前，将案件奏告神；

那时以色列中没有王，各人任意而行。
