You have joy, Israel! Who is like you? You are a people delivered by the LORD, your protective shield and your exalted sword. May your enemies cringe before you; may you trample on their backs.

以色列乎、爾有福祉、何民若爾、為主所救、主護爾如盾、使爾以刃獲勝有榮、敵必諂媚於爾、或作爾敵必服爾爾必履其山岡、

Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.”

Israel will be delivered once and for all by the LORD; you will never again be ashamed or humiliated.

Who is like your people, Israel, a unique nation on the earth? Their God went to claim a nation for himself and to make a name for himself! You did great and awesome acts for your land, before your people whom you delivered for yourself from the Egyptian empire and its gods.

O Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their deliverer and protector.O family of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their deliverer and protector.You loyal followers of the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their deliverer and protector.

For the LORD God is our sovereign protector. The LORD bestows favor and honor; he withholds no good thing from those who have integrity.

We wait for the LORD; he is our deliverer and shield.

He enabled him to travel over the high terrain of the land, and he ate of the produce of the fields. He provided honey for him from the cliffs, and olive oil from the hardest of rocks,

In fact, what other great nation has a god so near to them like the LORD our God whenever we call on him?And what other great nation has statutes and ordinances as just as this whole law that I am about to share with you today?

After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision:“ Fear not, Abram! I am your shield and the one who will reward you in great abundance.”

When they hear of my exploits, they submit to me. Foreigners are powerless before me;

Say to God:“ How awesome are your deeds! Because of your great power your enemies cower in fear before you.

In fact this is why we work hard and struggle, because we have set our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of believers.

At that time the LORD will punish with his destructive, great, and powerful sword Leviathan the fast-moving serpent, Leviathan the squirming serpent; he will kill the sea monster.

How blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen to be his special possession.

He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp double- edged sword extended out of his mouth. His face shone like the sun shining at full strength.

‘ How beautiful are your tents, O Jacob, and your dwelling places, O Israel!

When they brought the kings out to Joshua, he summoned all the men of Israel and said to the commanders of the troops who accompanied him,“ Come here and put your feet on the necks of these kings.” So they came up and put their feet on their necks.Then Joshua said to them,“ Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! Be strong and brave, for the LORD will do the same thing to all your enemies you fight.

Strap your sword to your thigh, O warrior! Appear in your majestic splendor!

If a person does not repent, God sharpens his sword and prepares to shoot his bow.

How blessed are the people who experience these things! How blessed are the people whose God is the LORD!

The others were killed by the sword that extended from the mouth of the one who rode the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves with their flesh.

A destructive army will come marching over the hilltops in the desert. For the LORD will use them as his destructive weapon against everyone from one end of the land to the other. No one will be safe.

He says,“ Indeed, my sword has slaughtered heavenly powers. Look, it now descends on Edom, on the people I will annihilate in judgment.”The LORD’s sword is dripping with blood, it is covered with fat; it drips with the blood of young rams and goats and is covered with the fat of rams’ kidneys. For the LORD is holding a sacrifice in Bozrah, a bloody slaughter in the land of Edom.

All three units blew their trumpets and broke their jars. They held the torches in their left hand and the trumpets in their right. Then they yelled,“ A sword for the LORD and for Gideon!”

Foreigners are powerless before me; when they hear of my exploits, they submit to me.
