So Israel will live in safety; Jacob will dwell secure in a land of grain and new wine, where the heavens drop dew.

Now may God give you of the dew of heaven, And of the fatness of the earth, And an abundance of grain and new wine;

“ Hear this, house of Jacob, who are named Israel And who came from the waters of Judah, Who swear by the name of the Lord And invoke the God of Israel, But not in truth nor in righteousness.

Bless God in the congregations, Even the Lord, you who are of the fountain of Israel.

Of Joseph he said,“ Blessed of the Lord be his land, With the choice things of heaven, with the dew, And from the deep waters lying beneath,

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of fountains and springs, flowing out in valleys and hills;a land of wheat and barley, of vines, fig trees, and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;

and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Drink water from your own cistern, And fresh water from your own well.Should your springs overflow into the street, Streams of water in the public squares?Let them be yours alone, And not for strangers with you.Let your fountain be blessed, And rejoice in the wife of your youth.

“ And I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful animals from the land, so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they will have the right to the tree of life, and may enter the city by the gates.Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we, I and Your people, may be distinguished from all the other people who are on the face of the earth?”

But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven,

In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety; and this is the name by which it will be called: the Lord is our righteousness.’

May my teaching drip as the rain, My speech trickle as the dew, As droplets on the fresh grass, And as the showers on the vegetation.
