摩西祝福迦得支派说：“扩张迦得疆界的那位当受称颂！迦得蹲伏如狮子，撕碎头颅和臂膀。

“论迦得说：使迦得扩张的应当称颂！迦得住如母狮；他撕裂膀臂，连头顶也撕裂。

关于迦得，他说：‘那使迦得扩张的，当受称颂！迦得卧如母狮，撕裂膀臂和头皮。

About Gad he said:“ Blessed is he who enlarges Gad’s domain! Gad lives there like a lion, tearing at arm or head.

Here’s what Moses said about Gad.“ May the God who gives Gad more land be praised! Gad lives there like a lion that tears off arms and heads.

And of Gad he said,“ Blessed be he who enlarges Gad! Gad crouches like a lion; he tears off arm and scalp.

Moses said this about the tribe of Gad:“ Blessed is the one who enlarges Gad’s territory! Gad is poised there like a lion to tear off an arm or a head.

He said about Gad: The one who enlarges Gad’s territory will be blessed. He lies down like a lion and tears off an arm or even a head.

Of Gad he said,“ Blessed is the one who enlarges Gad; He lies down as a lion, And tears the arm, also the crown of the head.

And of Gad he said:“ Blessed is he who enlarges Gad; He dwells as a lion, And tears the arm and the crown of his head.

And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: He dwelleth as a lioness, And teareth the arm, yea, the crown of the head.

He said about Gad: The one who enlarges Gad’s territory will be blessed. He lies down like a lion and tears off an arm or even a head.

And of Gad he said, Blessed[ be] he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.

Of Gad he said: Blessed be the one who enlarges Gad. Like a lioness he will dwell; he will tear at an arm– indeed, a scalp.

About Gad he said,“ He who enlarges Gad is blessed. He dwells as a lioness, and tears the arm and the crown of the head.

“迦得必被强盗劫掠，他却要反败为胜追赶他们。

玛拿西半个支派和吕便、迦得两支派已经得到耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东分给他们的产业：

你使我脚下的道路宽阔，不致滑倒。

以及希实本的亚摩利王西宏统治的各城，直到亚扪的边境。

又说：“闪的上帝耶和华当受称颂！迦南要做闪的仆人。愿上帝扩张雅弗的疆界，愿他住在闪的帐篷里，让迦南做他的仆人。”

以下是摩西按宗族分给迦得支派的土地：雅谢和基列境内所有的城邑；亚扪人的一半领土，直到拉巴附近的亚罗珥；从希实本直到拉抹·米斯巴和比多宁，从玛哈念到底璧的边境；还有谷中的伯亚兰、伯·宁拉、疏割、撒分，就是希实本王西宏国中其余的土地，以约旦河为界，沿东岸直到加利利海的顶端。以上这些城邑、村庄便是迦得支派按宗族所分到的产业。

在各国各民中，雅各余剩的子孙犹如林间百兽中的狮子，又像闯入羊群的猛狮，将猎物扑倒撕碎，无人能搭救。

来自约旦河东边的吕便支派、迦得支派和玛拿西半个支派的十二万拥有各种兵器的人。以上这些人都是能征善战的勇士，他们诚心诚意地到希伯仑拥立大卫做以色列王，其余的以色列人也都万众一心地要立大卫做王。

祂拯救我，领我到宽阔之地，因为祂喜悦我。

雅比斯向以色列的上帝祷告说：“愿你赐福给我，扩大我的疆土，与我同在，使我远离患难和痛苦。”上帝答应了他的祈求。

有些迦得支派的人到旷野的堡垒投奔大卫，他们作战英勇，善用盾和矛，貌似雄狮，快如山鹿。他们为首的是以薛，其次是俄巴底雅，第三是以利押，第四是弥施玛拿，第五是耶利米，第六是亚太，第七是以利业，第八是约哈难，第九是以利萨巴，第十是耶利米，第十一是末巴奈。他们都是迦得支派的将领，级别最低的统领一百人，最高的统领一千人。

吕便支派、迦得支派和玛拿西半个支派中善用盾牌、刀剑、弓箭、能征善战的勇士共有四万四千七百六十人。他们与夏甲人、伊突人、拿非施人和挪答人打仗，击败了夏甲人及其盟军，因为他们信靠上帝，在作战的时候向上帝求助，上帝应允了他们的祈求。他们从敌人那里掳走了五万只骆驼、二十五万只羊、两千头驴和十万人口。
